10.01.2022 The Importance of Dating till the End It’s so easy to let a relationship become mundane. But it can be a choice too. I’m a big believer in spending 1 on 1 time with your lover, no matter if it’s super simple or extravagant, if you have kiddies or not, if you’ve been married for 1 year or 50. Maybe the washing can wait! Maybe you could leave work a bit early, maybe you gotta book that babysitter... whatever suits you, but don’t let life get in the way. Go connect with that... lover of yours and keep that fire lit. It may not be much, but my hubby and I go out for an early dinner each week before picking up our son from daycare, an early breaky before work or walk along the coast. Its so nice to hang uninterrupted, touch base, talk deep or just have a laugh. What’s your ideal date?

01.01.2022 Truth bombIn 2011 a seed was planted within to begin this business, I had no idea a stylist was a thing as it wasn’t well known, especially In Australia. Never did I think I’d still be here nearly a decade later. Albeit successful and ‘full on’ in some seasons, its been slower paced in others. During the slow, I’ve watched as entrepreneurs flooded the creative industry hustling and skyrocketing, comparatively concerned if I was doing ‘enough’. Nearly a decade later- Im 32,... I’m no millionaire and I don’t have back to back lavish events, but what I have done, is used my time wisely to still maintain business, connect with this community, gain a degree, marry my dream guy and build together my proudest achievement: a family. All with an enjoyable pace of life. So I don’t regret a thing. I’m ‘richer’ for choosing against the hustle during some of those seasons, even when my passion was roaring Ive had to prioritise things in other baskets. Some seasons are ‘hustle & get it girl’, others are not. And we need to be ok with that. H xx
