22.01.2022 This month is about learning how to make your website werk it. Ideally, your website is doing your heavy lifting so you don't have to. Here's the potential of your website;... it's your store front and your place to make sure your merchandising and display is ON POINT it's your receptionist, welcoming people in, explaining what you do, offering your potential clients a cup of coffee or tea it's your reliable virtual PA, booking your appointments and rescheduling them if need be without interrupting your day it's your star Head of Sales team member, gathering qualified leads and bringing them in the door to consider whether you're the right fit for their needs it's your staff member dressed up in the cheesy mascot suit out the front of your shop, attracting attention and directing people to come right this way Your website should be saving you time and doing your selling for you! If yours has been gathering dust on the shelf it's time dust it off, give it an audit and commit to making some improvements. DM us with questions about your website you want answered. We will be focusing on websites all this month so keep them coming and we will answer them this month for you. Keep checking in for tips on how to make your website stand taller than your competitors. Please note: no, this photo is not our workspace. Our space is nice but not this polished. And there are snacks everywhere because we eat constantly #officegoals #keepingitreal #brighterbusinesses #smallbusinesswebsites #diymarketing #freemarketingtips #freemarketinghints #marketingtips #websitemanagement #marketingwithspark #websitedesign #websitefacelifts #websitemakeovers

21.01.2022 Wondering how to stay zen and protect your mental and physical health during this tumultuous time? Another local Tasmanian who has pivoted and is now providing her services online in this confusing world we are all being launched into. Remote services are a good way of creating income from home to anothers home. Victoria Brockfield is another doing the same from her home in Noosa and I can also highly recommend her for home reiki. She will also be releasing Pilates from home lessons... #brighterbusinesses #covid19survival

15.01.2022 Perfection takes too much time. Chasing it can lead to inaction and poor decision making. We want brilliant We want to kick our goals We want to ace our marketing ... We want results But we don't need perfection Perfectionism is in our bones and we actively work against it at times to make sure we are striking the right balance of productivity and attention to detail. We want to grow and learn. Not clang and freak at the smaller things that don't matter. #focusonthebigpicture #marketingwithspark #smallbusinessmarketingtips #smallbusinessmarketing
15.01.2022 Hi all, Im looking to connect with a couple of Tasmanian creative freelancers. I need a good website developer and a social media manager that I can send work through to. Developer must be able to work across Squarespace, Wordpress and Wix, be well priced, good at meeting client briefs and solid at delivering on deadlines. Social media manager must have the capacity to work alongside a Strategist and be able to plan, create and load content for clients. Strong digital copywriting a must. Both must be able to be responsive relatively quickly (ie. freelancing is their day job and main gig). DM me if you know of anyone or are interested!

13.01.2022 Yep, this would be us. We’ve used Snapchat but if we tried to use it for business this is how we would end up looking. And Clubhouse also isn’t for us right now. We are a small business, so we focus on the platforms we are comfortable with. We have enough daily learning going on. We focus on keeping up with changes to Google's algorithms, discovering new tools that help our clients manage their marketing more easily, and staying abreast of the daily changes thrust upon us ...by our cloud based programs. So yeah, you won’t see us on TikTok anytime soon. As a small business focus on things you know, and upskill in the area of marketing at a pace you’re comfortable with. If you can do it in your PJs even better in our opinion! #diymarketing #smallbusinessmarketing #socialmediamarketing #marketingwithspark #smallbusinessmarketingschool #marketingtraining #digitalmarketing

02.01.2022 At the same time as businesses are coming to an abrupt halt, the economy is going into some strange kind of free fall and financial stress is devastating many of us, Ive also noticed a sense of awakening. The value of money is being challenged and thats bringing out a sense of gratuity in many of us that has been latent for a long time. For freelancers, sole traders and business owners the challenge to adapt is enormous but its also an opportunity to look at injecting some more purpose and meaning into our lives.
