22.01.2022 I spent the Australia Day long weekend down on the beautiful South Coast at Bawley Point, just a couple hours from Wollongong. The burnt tree line just behind the houses on these aerial shots shows how lucky this little township was. Unfortunately other areas like Bendalong and Lake Conjola weren't so lucky; but with the recent rain hints of greenery is starting to come through .... Stopped at a road side fruit vendor on the way home, the elderly operator told me he lost his house and over 500 of his fruit trees but said him and his wife were unharmed and thats all that matters If you get a chance, head down with an empty esky and spend with them to help these wonderful communities get back on their feet. #emptyesky #spendwiththem #southcoastnsw #bushfirerelief #shoalhaven #visitnsw #tourismnsw #bushfireappeal #nswsouthcoast #vicfires #aussiespirit See more
