25.01.2022 This is with great sadness that Unfortunately due to the current situation resulting from Covid 19 outbreak, I have made the difficult decision to cease work and close Salt Hair Co as of Mon 23-3 this week. For us to remain a safe distance as well as servicing only one client at a time and the potential of passing this on to others that are health compromised, just doesn't sit well with me. It is impossible for me to continue on with my current salon expenses. I am extremely sad to say goodbye for now to my beautiful friends, some of 14yrs whom I have shared in my life as well as me in theirs. I thank you for always being so kind and understanding. I hope to be back at some stage after this is all over. I will be in contact with all my clients that have made appointments over the next few days. Thank you for understanding

20.01.2022 As mentioned in an earlier post, I am now teaching Mon, Tues and Wed, so my only day in the salon is Thursday’s. Sorry to make this so difficult for everyone. 17.01.2022 Hope everyone is doing ok? I really thought closing my doors last week, that I’d feel sad, emotional and a massive sense of regret. I won’t deny the sad and emotional was there, but I also felt a great sense of peace I felt relief that I wasn’t putting anyone at risk. I felt solid in my decision about closing even though the government won’t make the decision for us. I really feel for everyone still working in our industry. I get it, as some don’t have a choice. I do have another job, I am lucky (for now). Stay safe my beautiful clients, IT IS GOODBYE, BUT I KNOW ME, I am sure it’s not forever. So BYE FOR NOW. See everyone one on the other side please take care and make the most of this reset. I know I will.

05.01.2022 I have had a lot of enquires but at this stage, I am so sorry, Salt is closed for now until everything is back to normal . I won’t be returning to my location at Lake Cathie unfortunately. If and when I will be back doing hair, my hours will be restricted due to my available days.
