23.01.2022 How wonderfully thoughtful, today we experienced the most wonderful expression of "i just want to help" that you could imagine. we had a young guy come in with a fist full of coin, who had $4.70 in change to purchase a can of soft drink, just to help us through. the drink was $3 and he offered to put the change in the tip money to help us out,

23.01.2022 Saltshaker Restaurant will be changing their opening hours for winter. we will be open Saturdays till Wednesdays for lunch and dinner and closed Thursdays and Fridays, (starting next week) however the restaurant menu will be available through take aways for these two days lunch and dinner. please phone to check or place an order for either dine in or take away. once again to all of our customers thankyou for your support through these trying times.

Surely someone would have thought to let us know prior to this mess,...............

18.01.2022 saltshaker cafe and Restaurant is NOT closed or looking at closing. we will endeavor to push through these trying times and still offer the community and visitors food and beverages. our opening times have changed from Monday March 23rd. we will open the restaurant at 9 am till 2 pm and take aways 10 am till late.... our menu for takeaways will be increased to include items from our dine in menu, and we will offer delivery to those unable to collect. delivery will be in the Swansea area only at this stage, however may be expanded if required. this is going to be a difficult time for all businesses and we can only hope that all businesses will be able to work through. we will be open 7 days a week, extra precautionary measures will be in place for both staff and guests.

17.01.2022 Opening again. We will be opening the restaurant from this Saturday at 11am limited to 40 patrons. Lunch from noon and dinner from 5:30. Please phone for reservations. Patrons will be expected to follow COVID recommendations. This business has COVID business plans in place and has been officially endorsed. We look forward to seeing everyone again

16.01.2022 Summer has begun and so has our summer menu, a few highlights include; mussels in a spicy tomato and white wine broth, smoked salmon roulade with crisp breads, Nepalese chicken curry and a 3 point lamb rack. Our signature dishes such as the scallop pie and seafood chowder continue to be big hits. Head on in and dine on some amazing new food and enjoy the same beautiful view.
