14.01.2022 Did you know all footpaths in Queensland are shared paths (unless there is a sign that says otherwise)? On Cairns footpaths you’ll find strollers, walkers, ...cyclists, joggers, skateboarders, and scooters. Right now, our footpaths are very busy and everyone needs a little more space. Look out for one another out there! Keep to the left if you can If you have wheels, give way to pedestrians Allow plenty of space when passing someone (and remember, people with headphones in won’t necessarily hear a bike bell) Move off the path if you need to stop walking Keep animals on short leads and under control
