22.01.2022 Recently finished commission for a good mate. Based on the everyday scenes at the semi secret sandbanks out the back of his house on the peninsula. Was super fun painting a spot that I know like the back of my hand. 1.8m x 1m acrylic on wood panel. @ Old Melbourne Pumping Station

16.01.2022 I reckon I have been working on this one for over a year. Has never felt right. I kept looking at it modifying it and trying to work out what needed to be done. I set myself the goal to finish it over the weekend. Stripped it back and changed the angles. It now feels right. A solitary surfer, a single set of footprints, catching the last few waves before dark. Now to think of a name.....

05.01.2022 Had the pleasure of painting this one for a surprise Christmas prezzie for a good friend and family. Stoked to find out that the surprise paid off and they were rapt with the result! Bringing back the memories of the family catching the surfing bug on the lefthanders at Merimbula bar. Acrylic on 1000 x 1000mm canvas.
