24.01.2022 A great example if how small tasks or changes can have big effects on your nutrition . As I was chopping and prepping my raw meats for the day, I cooked the bones to make broth . An extra few servings of rice meant I had some good wholegrains on hand when I needed them ... . Pre chopped vegetables as I got them out of the grocery bags and placed them in the fridge . Which means, all I had to do for this mornings breakfast was heat and eat! (plus some extra eggs for aded protein ) . 09.01.2022 I was craving Brussels sprouts this morning! (call me weird) . Usually a craving is your body's way of telling you what it needs . How can you tell the difference between a craving and a want for a food?... . Cravings don't go away, you can be thinking about this food for days and still feel you need it! . Now a craving for Brussels sprouts (as random as it sounds) isn't all that bad. It is when we crave calorie dense, sugar/salt laden foods which can play with our emotional well being . Research has shown that doing between 60-120 minutes of exercise per week can improve symptoms of depression or maybe help prevent it in the first place. There is also some evidence that it’s extra helpful to do your exercise in a group and get yourself a social boost as well. ( @DYNAMICFS #dfsforlife ) .
