24.01.2022 Well its been a while. Lots has happened since last time as I was hoping. New band new trio new duo and gigs and shows. Still too early to go over board. Gigs at The Merton with BlueGroove going well. Show with The Midnight Ramblers show at Corrimal RSL went very well and thanks to Julie Fox got a pic of me that I am happy with. Duo and trio stuff at Benchmark restaurant bar in Cronull going very well too.

24.01.2022 Otherwise lately become known as BlueHourTrio. A few dates. 16th July Benchmark Cronulla / Trio Dave Shaw & Pete O'Neill 23rd July Benchmark Cronulla / Trio Dave Shaw & John Tweed 6th August Benchmark Cronulla / Duo Ross Ward... 20th August Benchmark Cronulla / Duo Ross Ward Other in between dates at Benchmark from other friends we know 27th August / Jewell Tones After that we will see what happens but I have been talking to Kachina Lewis with her sounds of KoKo so we might have a surprise on the way. Sound of KoKo Koko is an American Indian word meaning "night" and a popular name given to American Indian girls.

07.01.2022 Last night at the Benchmark in Cronulla went well yet again. Starting to get a few more heads in now. Thanks also to a couple of rollups who could have gone to the Foreday Riders gig around the corner. In particular Darryl Ford and Grant Legge and our wonderful guest singer Emma who adds the rhyming word dilemna to her description but far from it. Bruce Bongers also added to it when he dropped in for a couple of numbers and wowed the audience with his bass sax, chromatic harp... and vocals before his stage appearance at the Monkey. Pete O'Niell's upright bass sound was awesome last night as he brought along a bigger amp which just filled the venue nicely add that to Dave Shaw as usual at his emminent best and supurb vocals and me it all went very nicely. Will have to get some pics soon me thinks. We have a few more dates to fill before the end August. Next week with Dave and John Tweed on keys then a couple with good mate and fun guy Ross Ward who as usual will deliver his best not to mention his cheeky grin being part of his show too....nuff said. Last week in August The Jewel Tones. See more

05.01.2022 Well another really great night at The Benchmark. Have not seen it so packed before. Actually turning some away not sure if thats good or bad. Thanks Rhonda Nelson Rhonda Nelson and Bruce BongersBruce Bongers for sharing your talents with us it added so much to the vibe and the operators loved it I can assure you. We did get a vid but as usual not so fab so after editing decided to dump it.

03.01.2022 looks like we may have a couple of guest female singers showing up next week but more on that later or after
