21.01.2022 As coordinator of Essential Care Packs during the COVID-19 TSA response, Sue May had the privilege of organising food delivery to 2 couples in the Daly River region on 2 occasions. Quarantined behind a biosecurity border at Survey Creek, about 2 hours south west of Darwin, and with a limited internet connection, Paula Egan was finding it difficult to get someone to help her restock her pantry. She could access online shopping with Woolworths, but could find no-one to de...liver it. Finally, a phone call in the right direction and Sue was soon organising pick up and delivery from Darwin to the police manned Survey Creek biosecurity border for Paula and friend Carol from the same area. This week, with biosecurity borders and restrictions lifted in the NT, Sue and Henry (Sues husband, and volunteer delivery guy) had dinner with Paula and her husband Lionel during their first resupply trip to Darwin. Paula and Lionel were keen to express their thanks to TSA for the help they received at a time when they really needed it, so their kind donation will go towards helping others in need in the Darwin area.

07.01.2022 Yesterday was the annual Darwin's Motorcycles Toy Run - what an amazing event! All bikes in Darwin and surrounding areas were out on the road supporting the Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal with toy donations and WHAT A RESULT - around 500 toys were generously donated on the day! Thank you Darwin for your generosity, Phil the Elf (and event organiser!) and the entire Darwin Harley Owners Group for putting on an amazing show!
