07.01.2022 Get your kids moving and give them a head start!

04.01.2022 I love this time of year, the early mornings are cool and it's a perfect time for fitting in a run before starting the day! Try to involve your children in your exercise routine if you can, they are never too young to start learning about healthy habits (even if they do sleep the whole way through....). Be mindful of what your attitude is to exercise, do you find it enjoyable, is it a means to an end because you are trying to lose weight or do you find it a chore? Young children are impressionable and are likely to adopt the same view point as you. If you can make it fun and accessible they will be more likely to be open to a healthy active lifestyle as they grow up.

04.01.2022 Getting your strength and fitness back after having a baby is no mean feat but if it’s something you’re prepared to work at then you can make it happen! Some key points to help you start out on the right track are to: 1. Respect the fact that your body is different to how it was before your pregnancy, 2. Dedicate some time to working on smaller muscle groups that you may have got away with ignoring previously, ... 3. Aim for consistency across multiple sessions rather than over reaching in individual workouts. If this is something you’re interested in, get in touch to be part of a series of workshops for women strengthening up after birth.
