22.01.2022 Just punch this in google "Myth that you should not eat carbs in the afternoon" & use common sense on how the human body absorbs, stores & uses macro nutrients. These articles are indeed FACTS! Independent research & staying current is key to any "Fitness Professional" that is then passing on their knowledge to paying customers, to be taken seriously.... The idea that the body cannot deal with carbohydrates after a certain time of day is moronic at best. What if I cut myself after this magical time? Can my body make a scab? What if I work night shift & train in the morning, is this detrimental to my imaginary clocks ability to only use carbs within in a certain Window of the day? Is there certain times that other macros fail to be used correctly thanks to imaginary clocks or just the poor carbohydrate? If the bodies stores of a macronutrient are depleted then the amazing human body will, break down macronutrient rich food, separate it into its separate categories, dispatch the correct macro & send it to the appropriate area to be stored ready for its next time of need. This happens when it is needed, not because it is a certain time of the day. If you want to stop eating carbs at a certain time of day then fine you can, this method does work. However if you choose to absorb the same amount of daily carbs but spread them over the entire days meals then this will indeed have the same results or perhaps better (depending on amount trained per day, split times etc). The point is, there is more than one way to skin a cat! To pass on knowledge & claim it to be "The only way the body works cos that's what I do & 90% of everyone I know does" is indeed BRO SCIENCE in its most purest form. Be careful who you choose to give your money to for advice & always have an open mind to take on fresh knowledge because the human body is an amazing thing of beauty
