The next decision to make on our Moda Boats M7500WA was how to improve the fishability, especially when chasing pelagic species such as marlin, wahoo, dolphin fish etc, and for this we chose the one and only Reelax Marine and Gamefishing range of equipment to kit out our demo boat. Reelax has been the pinnacle of game... fishing equipment for over 47 years, and we are proud to say we took over as owners back in June 2020 and are glad to keep the tradition going for the best quality equipment, still proudly Australian Made on the Gold Coast and exported to the world! Fit out wise we decided to go a pair of cabin mounted Reelax Reef 450 Outrigger Base (RX62000) and a Reelax Deluxe Centre Rigger/Shotgun Outrigger Base (RX67001) perfectly matched with the Reelax 4.5m Grander Series 3K Carbon Poles and Reelax 3.0m Grander Series 3K Carbon Centre Rigger Pole. Well the new Sam Allen Wholesale Demo Boat is starting to come together quite well, and one of the key areas of any day/s on the water is seating and storage for all your gear. So lets take a look at the modifications we have made with the team at Moda Boats to create the ultimate Port and Starboard Seat Box setup! (well we think anyway ). We are going to go into a lot more detail once all the items are fitted, but for now its wo...rth mentioning what we have chosen to fit it out with. Port Side Seat Box (Passenger Side) We are fitting a Waeco 30L Drawer Fridge (by Dometic), an Innovation Tackle Centre 2 Tray Tackle Locker, a Plaztek pull out storage drawer, and using high quality Gemlux Friction Hinges we create a large top opening rear storage hatch. On top of this is a low profile Relaxn Suspension seat base, with our new Relaxn Mako Series Seats atop. Starboard Side Seat Box (Drivers Side) This is where the overnighting comes into play utilising Gemlux Friction Hinges we create a large storage hatch to house a Gasmate Portable Burner and food preparation area. While we have also flush mounted an Innovation Tackle Centre 2 & a 4 Tray Tackle Locker, a brand new black 1kg fire extinguisher box, and modified the box with a cut away to accommodate the Shark Seating Flex Shock Mitigation System, with a super comfy Relaxn Mako Series atop - definitely the ultimate setup for any skipper!
