19.01.2022 Think back to New Year’s Day this year. Do you remember how you felt that day? Were you excited? Or a little hung over perhaps? Did you feel the potential that the day represents? January 1st is a powerful representative of hope. It comes around every year without fail, marking a new beginning, the opportunity for change or growth and anything else that aligns with a fresh start.... Many of us make New Year’s goals and plans for the following year, which will help us to achieve overarching long-term changes. Be it career, health or finance, New Year’s is the time to start in a new direction. IT'S TIME FOR A MID-YEAR CHECK AUDIT How are those goals coming along? Have you thought about them much? What about your vision for the year? How is this year measuring up so far? A year is a long time and it’s easy to get sidetracked, so sitting down and dedicating some time to year means that when December hits, you won’t feel like a failure for not achieving your plans. So, when June rolls around, I do my mid-year audit, which looks something like this: Goal assessment Vision check Wheel of Life exercise Actions When you’ve done your mid-year audit you’ve identified which goals are on track and which are off the rails. You’ve refocused everything to align with your vision and you’ve established which aspects of life are out of whack according to your wheel of life. Now what? It’s time for action. Decide what you need to do to get yourself where you want to be. If you’re not totally sure, you can do a little investigation first to establish what you have to work on. You don’t need to wait for the New Year to roll around again to reset your intention and start fresh on your goals. Get it done now.

17.01.2022 FEARS in all CAPS. Scary? Fears actually aren't that bad - well I'm not counting being locked in a room full of snakes and spiders. We typically let small things get blown out of all proportion and stop us from doing what we really want to be doing.... Wanna know what my biggest fear is? It's not living up to my possibility. Not doing the maximum I can with the knowledge, talents and desires I have. Getting to the end of my days and realising that I missed the opportunities that were there for me. So what do I mean by 'make a plan to face them'? Exactly what I said. No matter what your fear, chances are someone has faced it before you - so how did they do it? Fear heights? Start with something small (not doing the Bridge Climb). Try some hypnosis meditation on fears or heights. I promise there will be wisdom out there for you to face your fear! Do one thing, even if it's teeny tiny today on your fear. Let me know what your fear is, and what you did on it today!! As for me, I promise myself to keep doing something every single day that I know helps me live into my future. Next fear I'm conquering - cold calling! Bugger, because that's part of me being my best self. Wish me luck

14.01.2022 Show em what you got. No really. Don't hide. Some people will love all the quirks, others won't. It doesn't matter.... What does matter is showing up as you. We've all done it, changed really crucial bits of ourselves for some reason, which at the time seemed really important to us. Chances are, you're no longer friends with, dating or working with that person you changed for. The caveat is - as much or as little as you see fit. SO read the room people! Maybe declaring your love for satanic rituals at your mothers afternoon is going a bit too far, but telling that guy on a date that you don't actually like red wine could be a good place to start.

08.01.2022 I'm sobbing watching this, it hasn't been a fabulous day for me - we all have them, and I'll be ok, but wowza, did the tears come easily. It hasn't been a great 4 years for the USA and today marks that changing, and their recovery beginning. It hasn't been a great year for the world, but I do hold on to the belief that we are healing. That we are learning.... That future generations will still be able to call this home. One of the most beautiful things to see in this video is the love that is shared between Kamala & Doug and Joe & Jill (get's me too as that was my parents name). The way they hold each other. Solo food does not have to be boring. Sleeve food does not have to be boring. Making yourself a good meal, especially after a busy day, is another aspect of your #selfcare Nourish your body, nourish your mind. At my heaviest, the food I picked was more about eating my feelings or what would give me the biggest rush. Not anymore. 04.01.2022 I've been really quiet on here for the last couple of months. I will talk about it more over the next few weeks - bottom line, lots of surgery to recovery from. It was elective surgery and I am doing really well. My brain has been so very foggy, partly the medication and partly exhaustion & healing. It's working again now, thank goodness and I've started working more. ... It's been so great to catch up with clients, study more and feel like my mojo is returning. Today has been one of those days where I feel like it's all heading in the right direction.......... I remember sitting at Honeymoon Cottage in Ubud, Bali about 16 years ago. In my mind I created a perfect retreat and seminar centre. A place to blend learning of all kinds, from personal development to cooking. I even did sketches of what it would look like (amazing given how terrible my drawing skills are). I named it and doodled a logo. I planned the first few retreats. Today I see this. It's SO close to what I pictured. Occupancy isn't as much, but there is so much room for expansion. I feel so alive and energised to keep going on that dream. If I wasn't so set on being where we are now for my daughter to finish school (3 more years), I would be seriously looking into it. I wonder if they'd do a 3 year settlement? It has re-inspired me, just like my friend's place, Lorne Rose Farm does. I'm reminded that there is no deadline on dreams!
