25.01.2022 Our new hand sanitiser station arrived today. Let’s all work together to keep the germs at bay!

23.01.2022 The Edmond Kennedy walking track offers so many amazing experiences for the children. They children loved the noises their shoes made on the board walk, the waves crashing onto the beach and the boats passing in the distance. We found our shadows while walking and a pile of rocks stacked up. My little Girls Grandma came to help us walking along together. A beautiful experience with in our community.

20.01.2022 Shaylee’s Strawberries Walking through the strawberry fields, the children were able to pick their own strawberries, although reminded to try and only pick the very red berries. They were able to take their time walking, kicking their feet through the red Tableland dirt. We finished our visit by indulging in a beautifully fresh sorbet.

19.01.2022 When we are gifted some very large boxes over the weekend our minds wonder with curiosity! Today we are using our boxes as castles. We are focusing on Rapunze...l, we’ve created a Rapunzel sensory tray and LEGO block castle. We’ve snuggled in blankets while watching the movie Tangled and created some beautiful lanterns. We’ve made crowns and tried to braid Rapunzel’s hair. See more

19.01.2022 The children are loving our fairy tale theme last week, so we have decided to extend it further. Today we are looking at the 3 little pigs! We watched a cartoon movie of the 3 little pigs, then got straight to work making some paper plate piggies and recycling some cardboard into piggy houses!

14.01.2022 Hello Spring! We are welcoming spring this week by following one of the children’s interest of flowers last week. We went on an excursion to our local garden centre As green as this morning to purchase new flowers to plant in our garden and some mini pots for our garden sensory play.

14.01.2022 Today we are looking at shape identification. So far we’ve looked at stars while creating a mosaic. And played outside with shape ice cubes. The 3year olds are very good at identifying their shapes, we will focus more on this through the week for the younger children.

08.01.2022 Science week 2020. It must have been very cold last night, our poor ocean animals got stuck in ice, our ocean water got very very cold and froze. Lucky the children were able to extract the animals safely. We were left with some very interesting looking ice bergs after rescuing our sea animals.

05.01.2022 November 11th was Remembrance Day. The children painted poppies to pay respect to our soldiers who never made it home.

05.01.2022 Science week 2020, the theme is Deep Blue. 18/8/20 - The children and I created an underwater volcano. We used cold blue water for our ocean, Sam placed the jar (volcano) of boiling hot red water into our ocean. We watched as the hot water came out of our volcano and sat at the top of our ocean. Explaining that hot water is lighter than cold water.... Eventually the water became the same temperature and mixed in as one. See more

01.01.2022 Nursery Rhyme week Miss Polly had a Dolly and some of our slip and slide play, it was such a beautiful day to get wet and splash about.
