24.01.2022 T I M E T O T U N E I N Who else is feeling the urge to retreat? With the shorter days and the cooler weather it's making me feel like I want to stay indoors more. I feel more sleepy and less motivated to get out and move. Tip #1 to support you as you slow down over winter;... 1. TIME TO TUNE INTO YOUR BODY - maybe you're feeling tired, the days are shorter and the nights are longer, your body takes this as a sign to sleep more. Rather than using coffee or sweet treats for pushing through weariness, perhaps it's time to take a nap, go to bed earlier or even have a sleep in on the weekends. Struggle with this thought? How about changing your bedtime routine to a bedtime ritual??? Perhaps eating earlier, having a warm bath with some essential oils for relaxation or some magnesium, getting off your electronic devices earlier instead try journaling and maybe a few stretches or yoga before you retire. There are also some great apps with white noise or a guided sleep meditation. Happy resting and retreating

23.01.2022 Meet Latte... This cheeky little fellow is always quick to come and say hi. He especially loves to be with his mum while she is having a treatment. But he really loves being first to jump on the bed and soak up some loving. He’s not keen on moving off and he does have a bit of a sulk when it’s his mum’s turn to get on.

21.01.2022 M O V E M E N T Are you feeling less motivated to get outside for your daily walk, run or cycle? The winter chill can sure make it that little bit harder.... Tip #2 to support you with movement over the winter months: 2. KEEP THAT BODY MOVING - resist the urge to just stop exercising. Dress yourself in layers when heading out for that walk, organise a friend to walk with, you're less likely to back out. Change the time of day that you get out, especially on sunny days. The sun has such reenergising properties, use them! Reconnect with nature and all of its beauty. Choose a gentler form of movement, try something new like yoga or pilates. Or how about some dance classes or belly dancing. Try a class at a studio or something online. Movement is so important as it moves emotions and stuff through the body. Happy moving and grooving
17.01.2022 Self-Talk What we say to ourselves can really effect the relationship we have with ourself. Which then can in turn affect our relationships with others’. Our i...nternal dialogue can be both positive and negative! Building ourselves up or bringing ourselves down. I thought this photo of the plant with the contrast of healthy and mouldy leaves showed perfectly how our self-talk can effect our bodies. From little things big things grow, meaning either positive or negative thoughts can take over. If the mould is the negative thought see how quickly it can take over. If the healthy leaf is the positive see how quickly it can take over. We have the ability to change our internal dialogue. Time to tune in to your words. What are you saying to you? So today I am making some time for myself to have a cuppa and to journal.... What are your dreams? What messages do you get when you are in nature?

15.01.2022 R E T R E A T Reconnect with your self and spend time going inward. Tip #5 make time to support yourself over winter... 5. Get out your diary or planner and mark in some self time. Do something creative in this time. Get out your journal, write down your goals/ dreams or if you like to draw what about an art journal? Get those creative juices flowing! Next step meditate on your goals/ dreams or do it the other way round. Can't think of your goals or dreams??? Change your scenery, go out for a walk, put some music on loud and upbeat and dance around. Even when we are on retreat it's important to keep in the flow and to feel like we are achieving things. 12.01.2022 So how can we get to heart space? A great way to connect to the heart is through meditation, connecting with nature, using essential oils and placing your hands on your heart. Rose is the oil of divine love. It holds a higher frequency than any other oil on the planet. ... Why not try this with your next meditation? New to meditation, try this... Pop on some meditation music (YouTube is great for this) Place a couple drops of rose oil in your hands rub gently together and inhale through your nose, place your hands on your heart and gently breathe, focus on your heartbeat. 11.01.2022 Do you ask for signs? Whilst on my morning walk I asked for a sign. I have been asking myself some questions and I knew the answer but I thought it would be fun to ask anyways. I asked to see a kangaroo in the golf course. They’re often there but I haven’t seen any for ages. I was a little surprised when I saw the baby Joey bouncing along, I caught sight of him from the corner of my eye. Next thing I see 5 kangaroos!!! 5 on the Millennium Grid from Jean Sheehan Millennium E...ducation is all about Freedom. The freedom is all about freedom of the mind. When I asked my question and asked for a sign this gave me freedom of mind. It was confirming what I already knew. The photo of the kookaburra is because he was just so close to me. I couldn’t resist taking, isn’t he magnificent? Have you ever tried asking for a sign?
10.01.2022 DON’T WISH FOR A GOOD DAY, WORK FOR IT. But do we really have to work for it? What if it is all about changing the way we think? What if we started the day knowing it was going to be good? Visualising and focusing on all the good that we can do and are doing. When we bring our attention to the so called ‘good’, we begin to notice it more! The more we notice the more we get! ... So do you want to work for it, or do you want to create it?
09.01.2022 Is nature trying to tell me something? Don’t these fungi look like little ears? Ears and Ear Chakra - are you listening to your own negative self talk. This can lead to disappointment. Tune into nature’s healing sounds and all the love it offers.
09.01.2022 S T I L L N E S S Sometimes we just need a little reminder to be still. Finding stillness can be a little difficult if you’re at work or you have the kids running around. What if you could find stillness in your breath? Take a deep breath, hold for a sec and then release slowly. Take 2 more breaths like this. How does your body feel? ... By practicing breath work you become of aware of what’s going on in your body. The body is speaking all of the time are you stopping to listen to it? What is your body saying to you? 03.01.2022 Relax ladies its Sunday!
03.01.2022 H E A R T In Medical Intuition the heart is where we hold awareness, love of self/ others, freedom, forgiveness, respect, joy/ sadness and it's where we set boundaries. I'm learning to set boundaries in all aspects of my life. I have never really been consistent and this has caused pain because I thought I didn't create the life that I really wanted, I was not seeing the gift in what the pain was bringing me. It was the opportunity for growth and transformation.... Now that I have an awareness of boundary setting I am able to forgive myself because as I didn't really understand what they were and what they would bring me. What would I get if I chose to set boundaries? FREEDOM! Freedom of the mind. I would be able to let go of all of those crazy monkey mind stories of not having what I wanted. To know this now brings a great amount of joy. Today I'm off to daydream about setting boundaries and to watch the clouds!
02.01.2022 E A T F O R W E L L N E S S I don't know about you but winter can make me feel hungrier! I crave warm and filling foods to create the warmth in me.... Tip #3 Choose slow cooked meals, soups, stews and curries. Add chillies, ginger, turmeric, garlic, cinnamon, black pepper to raise your body temperature. Add protein to your dishes as it makes you feel fuller for longer and it doesn't have to be meat there are many meat free options. Some of my favourites are cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, spinach, chickpeas, lentils and almonds oh and also chia seeds! Keep up your water if you can't bear it cold have it hot with a lemon slice in it. Try herbal teas or even a spicy chai. Prepare food lovingly with your family and enjoy eating together. Set the table and add a few candles to celebrate the joy of eating together. Here's to soul warming food and wellness
