22.01.2022 Baby it’s cold outside Let’s talk skin care in the winter months. My skin is the classic combination skin - oily t-zone, but boooooy it can get as dry as my text messages get after I sense any fuck boyery going on. To create glowy makeup, you NEED a beautiful hydrated base! For this reason I change my night cream & prep in the cooler months. Also, when it’s cold it’s easy to forget to drink water, again, slapping any foundation, even the most boujée shit, on a dry ass face,... will just look as cakey as the foundie of a 80s David Jones beauty counter rep (btw - mad respect to those ladies because they did the damned best with the products they had at the time). 21.01.2022 Hobbies include: seeking out the good lighting in spaces If you love fresh makeup, I’ve just edited my glowy skin guide, which is a lil bit of colourful copy on how I create glowy bases aaaannnnd you’ll be surprised about how much skin prep (hot tip: I love vitamin b) and how little highlighter it takes . 03.01.2022 Event ready tip (for when we eventually come out of house arrest ) The best (& easiest) way to get both your face & hair to stay all day/ night is to give your prep products time to do their job. Change the order of your glam steps to: 1. Prep skin 2. Set hair 3. Do Makeup (start with eyes if dramatic eye) 4. Take out soft set & finish look I prefer a soft set rather than hot rollers for more unstructured curls (& you only need a packet of clips + a hot tong).
