25.01.2022 Yay it’s 20’s Art Deco all over again!

22.01.2022 Very pleased to have been announced as a Bronze place winner at the 2020 Indigo Awards, for the Bolton Financial Services logo. https://www.indigoawards.com/winners/1899 The logo features a heavily stylised Black Cockatoo, which is an Aussie icon and part of our folklore around weather. When foul weather is approaching, Black Cockatoos can be heard noisily flying inland, and when we see them fly back out towards the coast we know fair conditions have once again returned. What better mascot for a financial services business whose job is to stay ahead of the changing conditions in our financial markets?

03.01.2022 Well, what a couple of weeks it’s been. I don’t know about you but I’m feeling pretty drained and at a loss for words. Some events of the past few weeks have dimmed my love for humanity, so all I can really add is the following message. I would also like to extend the offer of my professional services, free of charge, for anyone establishing a worthwhile community-minded initiative in this time. I’m a mum to an eight month old baby who I’m keeping close at home with me, so my... time needs to be split between caring for her and being available to work, but I’ll do whatever I can to help you with branding and communications for your project perhaps we can even barter services or goods. I may even be able to help with things outside my normal skill set, directly or indirectly. I’m connected to other sole-traders and freelancers in Tasmania, so chances are I can also help pull together a team should you need it. As someone who works from home and conducts a large part of my business electronically in normal circumstances, nothing much changes for me except the demand for my services. Perhaps this might be of interest to one of your contacts, so I ask that you please forward this or share it to anyone who you think I could assist.
