23.01.2022 Did you know that you can take your Bread Tags to the The Leisa Tree in Samford for recycling? Leisa Nilon - owner of Leisa Tree has a collection point in her beautiful shop. She then sends them off to Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs who recycle them, raising funds to buy wheelchairs for disadvantaged people in South Africa. Any business operation on Bribie Island who wants to improve their sustainability can join the precinct. Membership is free, courtesy of Regional Development Australia - Moreton Bay... How does the precinct work? Members connect to build skills, share insights and start trading in a circular economy. Why is this important? Collaborating locally and doing business sustainable has many benefits like reducing waste, saving energy costs, developing new partnership, and supporting the local community in the process.
