06.01.2022 Spring is here and our garden is blossoming with flowers hoping to produce fruit for us in summer! Our bees are enjoying this time of year collecting pollen for... their hive. The mulberries are already fruiting and we are busy picking daily to keep up with the production of berries. At the moment we have 8 kgs and on Tuesday, the first batch of Mulberry Jam will be made for this season, for all those Mulberry Jam lovers! The garden, that hosts our favourite Rosella bushes, is being prepared. So, the ground will be nourished in time for planting those lovely plants late October early November. We are hoping the coming rain (which we need) will not dampen our spirits as we prepare for one of our favourite markets, Samford Valley Markets, this Saturday 12th September, from 7am until 12noon. Oh yes, please come and say hello as this day is also special to Cliffit is his birthday! This Sunday, 13th September, Berry Good Jam is looking forward to Love Handmade Markets event, Spring into Handmade at Seasonal Flavours at Milton Markets from 6am until 12noon. If you are not able to attend our markets this weekend some of our Berry goodness products can be found in The Ole Lollie Shop Old Petrie Town and at Redcliffe, or in The Fruit and Deli Co Westfield North Lakes. Seras Artisan Pantry also stocks Berry Goodness products. As does hanging with our friends. With our one year celebrations just around the corner, we are proud of how we have grown. From two different handmade bags in the beginning, to 10 bag designs, handmade cards with photos taken by us, up-cycled retro cushions and door stops.
