18.01.2022 Hi everybody, We are back from the 15th. April for Take Away and Home Deliveries. Please call us with your orders and we will be more than happy to supply you with your favourites once again. We have also received the authority to take credit card payments over the phone.We will explain the collection process when you call. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we were closed.

15.01.2022 Please note that Samgasat will not be opening for Dine In from Saturday as first advised. We have been informed that the 4 square meter rule is still being enforced, which makes our restaurant too small to seat even the allowable 10 people. To those who have booked for this weekend and next week our sincere apologies. We will advise you when dine in will be possible again. We will still continue with our take away and our trading hours will be from 5-9 pm Tuesday to Sunday.

15.01.2022 Dear Friends of Samgasat, In the light of the current crisis we are compelled to advise all our patrons to order take away instead of visiting our restaurant for dinner. After taking your phone orders we can call you back once the meal is ready so you can drive over and sit in your car till we call you. As of next week we will be practicing social distancing and will only permit just a handful of people in the restaurant at any one time. We can however break up the evening i...nto two sittings, one from 5pm till 7pm and the other from 7pm till 9pm. However we will not encourage parties 4 or more at a table unless they are all from one family. If things outside deteriorate we will also be commencing a Delivery service where customers can give us their credit card details over the phone and we will the drop off their food for a nominal charge of $5.00 per household regardless of the order size and within a 5Km radius. (over 5Km to be decided on). Seniors and pensioners will have free delivery. We are willing to commence this immediately if payments are made by cash as we still have no facilities to take payments over the phone. We trust these measures will assist all our patrons who would still love to enjoy a good Samgasat meal despite all the stress and tension that this crisis is causing. See more

14.01.2022 Update 23/03/2020 Only take away and home delivery from tomorrow. As discussed if you are taking away, after ordering you can drive round and wait in your car till we call you when the take out is ready. ... In terms of delivery, we have not yet finalised credit card payments over the phone so home delivery will only be paid by cash. I am advised that we will have the credit card facility finalised by next week. Please put the full amount in an envelope and keep It handy for paying the driver when he/she brings your food to the door. $5 delivery fee for addresses within 5 km radius.

13.01.2022 Dear friends... it is so heartening to see all the wonderful comments that have been posted about our reopening! However I would like to caution all our customers that the pandemic is still with us and we must all still practice the rules set by the government. From our end we are practicing social distancing and caring for all of you as well as our family and in return we beg you not to make our opening an excuse for large house parties etc.... Also until the pandemic is someway behind us we would like to say that we will supply the bags for the takeaway food to further minimise the risk to you folk and to our staff. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

10.01.2022 Ok folks.... Back in the Dine In business as from this weekend. We will have two sittings... 5-7 and 7-9 pm. Max table size 4 people. When this changes I will inform you. As we anticipate many bookings please book ahead to avoid disappointment. We look forward to serving you all from our regular menu (yellow one) at our regular prices. We apologise for the delayed closure and now welcome all our dine in customers for that Northern Thai street market experience.

05.01.2022 Hi to all our patrons. This to advise everybody that we will be closing our restaurant for a week commencing Tuesday 12th October for painting and general Maintenance. We apologise to anyone who has planned to book at that time and hope to see you soon. We will be back from Tuesday the 20th. October.

04.01.2022 Thanks to our Govt. we can open for twenty from tomorrow. Please note that we will still have two sittings5-7 and 7-9. Also due to the Govt requirements we will limit the tables to 6 people and if groups of more than 6 book, we can try to keep them adjacent but not together. Thank you all for your cooperation and patience and your incredible support during this difficult period.
