24.01.2022 In the light of current events we are once again forced to limit our tables to 4 or maximum 5 or 6 people and social distancing will be enforced. Therefore we regret that all booking over 6 people scheduled for this week will be cancelled and we only take groups as mentioned above. We will be open for takeaway and should you wish to entertain your guests (that were initially booked at Samgasat) at your home, we will be happy to cater for take away. We apologise for this severe inconvenience but are hands are tied as this is a State Health Directive. We will notify you as soon as things change or these conditions are lifted.

21.01.2022 Slight change in our plans, folks! We will also close on the 3rd Jan. We will therefore be opening in the new year on Tuesday the 5th. Sorry for the late notice!!

15.01.2022 Please note that Samgasat will not be opening for Dine In from Saturday as first advised. We have been informed that the 4 square meter rule is still being enforced, which makes our restaurant too small to seat even the allowable 10 people. To those who have booked for this weekend and next week our sincere apologies. We will advise you when dine in will be possible again. We will still continue with our take away and our trading hours will be from 5-9 pm Tuesday to Sunday.

15.01.2022 Thanks to our Govt. we can open for twenty from tomorrow. Please note that we will still have two sittings5-7 and 7-9. Also due to the Govt requirements we will limit the tables to 6 people and if groups of more than 6 book, we can try to keep them adjacent but not together. Thank you all for your cooperation and patience and your incredible support during this difficult period.

13.01.2022 Hi to all our patrons. This to advise everybody that we will be closing our restaurant for a week commencing Tuesday 12th October for painting and general Maintenance. We apologise to anyone who has planned to book at that time and hope to see you soon. We will be back from Tuesday the 20th. October.

12.01.2022 Hi to all our customers and a safe and Happy New Year. We are back from today for dine in and take away. We have a slightly revised menu with marginally higher prices. This has been necessary because we have seen 3 price hikes in the last year alone on some of our raw materials!! We all look forward to seeing you soon.

07.01.2022 Ok folks.... Back in the Dine In business as from this weekend. We will have two sittings... 5-7 and 7-9 pm. Max table size 4 people. When this changes I will inform you. As we anticipate many bookings please book ahead to avoid disappointment. We look forward to serving you all from our regular menu (yellow one) at our regular prices. We apologise for the delayed closure and now welcome all our dine in customers for that Northern Thai street market experience.

03.01.2022 Notice to all our patrons. Samgasat will only be closing on Christmas day (25th. December) and on the 1st and 2nd January. We will be open on all the other days except on the Mondays which are the restaurant’s normal days off. 03.01.2022 Just to let you all know that we are back from this evening (20 th October) with a new look! The accent will be on safer take aways and it will unfortunately be at the expense of a few dine in tables! As a consequence the New Normal will be less dine in customers but back to two sittings... 5pm till 7 and then 7 till late! Unfortunately this will be a semi permanent arrangement till we have no covid. It is therefore recommended to book your dine in tables early to avoid disappointment. We look forward to serving you!
