23.01.2022 All the friends here at Quamby Park Farm Stay & Petting Zoo are really excited about the recent rains and are hoping that the grass will start to grow again soon, but in the meantime we need your visits here to continue as when you Book your 'Day Visit' or 'Accommodation' or 'Camping' it helps pay for our food.... Also we love to spend time with you and we heard that humans like toilet paper (though it makes no sense to us), so we decided to help YOU out by offering each pers...on who books to visit us, a roll of toilet paper.... hope you will take up the offer and come visit us soon. 23.01.2022 Welcome to the world just born today, a little girl who will be part of my Miniature Sheep mob.... she is only a 1st cross as her mother is a Persian small sheep but her father is a registered Miniature Ram, so one step up the ladder towards miniature . For those following this page we opened to the public a year ago as Quamby Park Farm Stay & Petting Zoo.... you are welcome to join our page and meet our many animals here on the farm. There are a few new babies here for peop...le to meet, a few on the bottle and soon some adults to milk. So great to be getting new bookings as we are now open for Day Visits, it's been lovely to have people back here to visit our animals.... and from the 1st June open for Camping and Accommodation. We have plenty of space so your family group is able to 'social isolate' .... Don't miss your opportunity to book as we only have space for 'so many' and you might miss out. 21.01.2022 Goats are such funny creatures

20.01.2022 Yesterday I said goodbye to nearly all my Mini Milkers who have moved onto a new home...with grass!...their new owner messaged me to say they were happily chomping on the grass, something that they have not had here for well over a year as the drought drags on for us in our region. Its always hard to say goodbye to my goats, especially those that I have had for years as I raise them all from around 3 weeks old on the bottle so that they are human friendly, walk on leads and t...hey so enjoy their times on the milking stand with me and with the visitors we get here having a try at milking, my girls are always very patient with beginners. So today I will miss my milking the girls, shed a tear but know they are happy with their new life. And so as the drought drags on all pictured below need to find homes before Christmas so that they can bring some joy to new families and help ease our feed costs. All these kids were not expected as their fathers and mothers meet without my consent lol but they have always been loved and hugged so that is what I expect for them to continue when they leave here and what I dream for them all. In the meantime there are still so many babies to play with and hug so come for a visit to Quamby Park Farm Stay & Petting Zoo ...nothing better than the love they share.

20.01.2022 Cookie and I finally finished building our huge goat playground yesterday, all ready now to paint.... I have some great 'bright' ideas....and last night with a bit of excess wood cut offs we decided to have our own little campfire...and I was really surprised that lots of our goats came and sat around the fire with us lol. Here was I worried the fire might frighten the girls but instead I had to actually make some get back as a few actually walked right up to the flames! ....... What an enjoyable time it was, just Cookie and I and our girls reflecting on another wonderful day here on the farm and another building achievement .... now we can move onto the next plan.... A big thankyou to all the lovely people who visited us here at Quamby Park Farm Stay & Petting Zoo (find our main page on fb) on the weekend, we are so blessed to meet so many lovely people who enjoy spending time here on our farm with our animals. We get some great reviews and lovely pm messages and photos of their visits, makes my day xxxx

13.01.2022 A big Happy Mother's Day to all us Mums out there...... We are open today as I spend time with all my 4 legged babies lol but you are welcome to come spend time... with my 4 legged kids and your own out here on the farm. Open between 10am -5pm, Adults $20. Children $10. On arrival you get a tour to meet all the animals then the rest of the day is yours, pack a picnic and stay as long as you like. Read our reviews (they are 5 star and really good :) love that people love our place. Open for Day Visits/Camping/Accommodation...if same day booking please phone first to book in or email [email protected] to book in any other day....we are open 7 days a week with prior bookings....see you soon.

12.01.2022 Note: Long Weekend: the Old School Bus is now booked... only Camping available or Day Visits, Friday night available for the Bunkhouse. Still have the 2 campingsites available for this Long Weekend, its campfire time....hurry and Book now. Day Visits: we have limited room for Saturday and Monday...hurry Book now. Sorry Sunday is fully booked for Day Visit quota.... Friday night is available for the Bunkhouse sleeps 4....hurry Book now. With the covid 19 restrictions we are being careful not to over book so there is heaps of space for people to enjoy the farm with your own group. 10.01.2022 I have around 10 miniature goat weaners, can go back on the bottle but they are super friendly so not nessessary, all from registered parents, with checkable heights, lots of colours, some with blue eyes, Cashgoras and Cashmere, no shearing and also a couple of well raised Miniature Horses...plus a Miniature Sheep starter herd... email [email protected] for details

09.01.2022 Its goat rego up-date time...new photos and measurements to send in for all my gorgeous Miniature Bucks....I always keep a few Bucks so that I never have the issue of too close to family genetics and can a lot of times get the colours I hope for along with the downsizing ;) Love my boys!

The last of my kids for this season have been born...all the first group will be heading to their new families soon....the next group will be on the poster I will be sending out soon to all those on the waiting list....are you on it? 05.01.2022 Here is one of the little Miniature Goat cuties to spend time with here on the farm....they love it when other people are here cause I am often too busy to sit and hug them all so when visitors come to play they have the time to sit in the shade and the goats get so much attention, its lovely to see their happy little faces :) This one is Harley a sweet little harlequin Cashgora, has its fluffy baby coat ready for winter, but by next summer the long coat will fall out itself so no need to shear, then it grows again for winter...Cashgoras are supersoft and cuddly. 05.01.2022 Some of my girls possibly available....all my goats are handraised and friendly and all have been milked which also makes them tame, but doesn't mean their next owners have to milk them but can have that option as some turn out to be great Mini Milkers

03.01.2022 Here is Samittar Tanner our last bottle baby for the season... I have a 7mth old buckling from the same parents who is gorgeous and small and I was going to keep this stunning little guy for my own breeding as his full brother is so good, but I have another born, that I decided to keep so this little gorgeous boy is available as a pet.... info in the video and then email [email protected] if interested....still have 2 Miniature Sheep to Lamb but this is the last of the miniature goats until Sept/Oct.
