23.01.2022 How exciting!! Today we got the news that our gyms are able to open as of tomorrow!!! Now, we will be opening again however there will be strict rules that we need to abide by. To stay Covid-safe. This will mean the gym will only be able to allow 20 people in at a time. Meaning us trainers will need to have strict booking and cancellation policies.... I am so excited to get everyone back to close to the norm. If you are ready to book in please PM with the day/time that suits you best.

We are all optimistic and know that it is the best for our country. Training will still continue, outdoors until we know any more! So don’t give up just because the gym has closed, it’s time to test our minds & our bodies. If you are out of ideas or don’t know how to set up your outdoor sessions just let me know, send me a message and I am will happily he...lp you. Stay strong, stay healthy & stay positive. We got this.

06.01.2022 Why continuous exercise is still important! With everything that is going on at the moment, I know personally I find myself feeling overwhelmed, sometimes angry at all the information coming from every angle possible. There are 2 key reasons, why exercise is important in times of crisis.... 1. It is proven that physical activity of any kind, improves your mental health. During this time, it is more important than ever to look after our mental health. Keeping our minds free of all the mumble jumble that is being thrown at you. 2. ESSA is not only urging young people to move more, they are encouraging people of all ages to engage in physical activity. Why? Contemporary evidence shows that leading a physically active lifestyle reduces risk of communicable (bacterial, & viral infections) and non communicable diseases. If you are feeling anxious about going to the gym, check in with your manager or your gyms social media to see the steps they are taking to ensure hygiene measures are being taken. Or ask your trainer if they are open to outdoor sessions. Why not take advantage of this beautiful weather and enjoy some Vitamin D & fresh air!
