25.01.2022 Merry Christmas We wish all our owners, supporters & their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We hope everyone has a fabulous day

22.01.2022 With a heavy heart it is sadly time to say goodbye to our beloved Rocky, Vaunting. At six years old and a veteran of 37 starts, he has earned his owners almost $100 000 in prizemoney primarily from six wins, including the Gordonvale Cup. I am very fortunate to have trained him and watched him go through the grades since he was three years old, which has also been 34 of his 37 race starts. Our special Rocky boy is off to a young lady to be a pony and I look forward to seeing him excel at whatever he does next. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love this boy and am going to miss him dearly. I'm so happy that he is going to a loving home to be spoilt. He will certainly be missed around the stables and at the races, where you always knew he would give his all. Good luck and thank you Rocky

18.01.2022 After the recent strike action which has resulted in a promising outcome for our industry, TAB racing returns to FNQ at Cairns tomorrow. In race 6 we are looking forward to seeing Little Red Corvete line up to chase his third win in as many starts. With stable jockey Steve Wilson taking the ride we are hoping to see him take the next step up in class. The team will be looked after by Alby and Dannielle tomorrow due to prior family commitments for myself. It is a relief knowing the horses will be in such capable hands in my absence. We wish the best of luck to our owners and everyone else tomorrow

18.01.2022 In a very emotionally charged win, our Lily's Prince scored an emphatic win at our annual Cup meeting. Steve Wilson rode him an absolute treat to score by 1.5 lengths to the delight of his owners. They, as are we, very privileged to continue the story and awareness of Lily Rose and her special story and it was very special to have him win a race at just his third start today

11.01.2022 It's Atherton Cup day tomorrow on our home track and one of our runners has a very special story to tell. Lily's Prince, in race 3, was named after a very special girl called Lily who was terminally ill with SMA. As part of fundraising for the charities that had supported her family, they were donated a share in a racehorse, which was then named Lily's Prince. Lily and her family travelled many hours to visit Prince and it was clear to everyone that they had a very special bond. Prince has since moved up to North Qld and Lily has lost her battle but is now cheering from the sky for her boy, who for the first time tomorrow will be wearing a special bridle with Lily's name on it. We are very thankful for her family reaching out to share their story and know that Lily will be a guardian angel watching out for Prince

10.01.2022 After a few weeks break we returned with two starters at Cairns today. Keys To The City returned from a spell in fine fashion, running a close up 4th and showing much improvement from his break. The stable stalwart Vaunting put in yet another valiant run for 4th, beaten only two lengths on an unsuitable soft track. It was very pleasing runs from both boys. We'd also like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry and safe Christmas

10.01.2022 A big double header weekend of racing with Vaunting making the trip to Townsville tomorrow and Yankee Bubbles going down the range to Cairns on Saturday. Vaunting has been mr consistent all preparation and with regular jockey Steve Wilson in the saddle, we're hoping tomorrow is his day to crack a win. Steve also rides Yankee Bubbles in Cairns as she steps up in distance looking to improve on her recent encouraging runs. Good luck and safe travels to both connections and other participants on what will no doubt be scorching days in both places

09.01.2022 WINX What a phenomenal thoroughbred! Just Magnificent! I feel so privileged to have witnessed such greatness in my lifetime. Love this sport

09.01.2022 Our very special boy Lily's Prince returns to the races at Townsville tomorrow, having his first start back from a short spell. We were very honoured to share the heartwarming story of Prince and his first owners, especially Lily Rose, whom he shared a special bond with before SMA cut her life too short. With his special angel cheering him on from the sky we know that Prince will be doing his best tomorrow for those wanting to watch he is race 6, number 5 at 4:50pm (AEST)

08.01.2022 Our newest recruit Bobtheaccountant braved the heavy track at Cairns on Tuesday for his first race start. After settling just off midfield he powered home to finish 3rd, less than a length from the winner! He behaved like a perfect gentleman for the day but will no doubt derive fitness and race sense from the outing. He did us all proud, he is a beautiful colt and we look forward to his next task. Many thanks to Lou who looked after him at the races and to Mum for the photos

07.01.2022 Racing in Cairns tuesday and I have 2 boys nominated! ** Charlie (Bobtheaccountant) is making his debut after coming to Far North Queensland and he is finding his groove ** Prince (Lily's Prince) after finishing 4th in Atherton after not liking the wet ground. Can't wait to see what these boys do on Tuesday.

03.01.2022 Some snaps of a few horses we have in at work
