20.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE! . - - Due to the arising health crisis that is happening at the moment @sammys_makeup_artistry unfortunately will not be taking any bookings until further notice! As you are all aware I myself suffer from an illness which has lead me to be put into isolation. I am however fine, but with my immune system not at 100% Im at higher risk of contracting COVID-19. ... I want to apologise to all my clients and also apologise to my future bookings who I have had to cancel! You have all been soo understanding! 13.01.2022 IM BACK! . As you are all aware I have been very quite on this page... And here is why.... Around this time last year I went back to full time work, also while having 2 young kids and also dealing with a few health concerns. Unfortunately something had to give.... As much as I loved doing makeup, I needed time to be with my family and look after myself. I was in a very dark place, as I was extremely angry at myself and my body for letting me down. The one thing I absolutely loved doing, I could no longer do. My weekends seen myself on the couch or in bed with the laptop barley able to move... Over the past year, I have had 2 surgery’s, multiple hospital stays, too many infusions to count, 10 different procedures and many kilometres travelled to specialists, surgeons, GPs, naturopaths, you name it. But, I can say that although I have a long way to go, each day is getting better and better and I can now happily say that I will be taking bookings again! I just wanted to thank each and everyone one of you for being so understanding when I had to say no, so thank you from the bottom of my heart! Now to when I am available... I’m actually booked out for the next 2 weekends and will be taking bookings from March 20th. I can’t wait to share all my beautiful faces with you all. Now to end my essay, here is the beautiful Bronte, I had the pleasure of painting this ones face a few weeks ago, and basically as the saying goes... When you do something you love you will never work a day in your life! Again thank you to everyone for being such a great support, and to thank you all, I will be doing a massive GIVEAWAY.... 09.01.2022 H E L L O . . I thought I would touch base with all my beautiful clients. I have had a couple of msgs asking when I will be returning... . .... As some of you may know I work full time as an employment consultant so as you can imagine with the crisis of COVID-19 my job has become extremely busy. On top of that I am a Mum of 2 precious little humans who I adore more then life itself. On top of that I also have an auto immune disease which means I very rarely leave the house at this time. . . So with all that said I have come to the decision that I will be closing @sammys_makeup_artistry for good. . . First of all I want to thank all my amazing clients I have had over the nearly 2 years of running this little adventure. It’s been an absolute pleasure doing every single one of your beautiful faces. At this time I just need to do what’s best for me and my family! . . I have had an amazing ride and I can’t thank you all enough for letting me do what I love. . . I have loved every minute of my little makeup business so thank you to every one of you for making this possible. Like they say when you do something you love you will never work a day in your life.
