22.01.2022 Message for Tracey - The email with information I promised to send you at the Yass Fair has bounced back, if you see this message please contact me here so I can forward you this information as promised

19.01.2022 Friends, colleagues, and clients, No doubt it's a scary time for us all, but with that, the best we can do is look to the evolving science as a base to guide our actions. Consider your own unique situation, for example, for me as an immunosuppressed person, from my MS treatment, that means self quarantine. Consider the potential environments outside, in commuting, or at your work. What, if anything, can be altered? ...Continue reading

19.01.2022 Looking forward to speaking again at North Shore Private Hospital's Empower Pain Management Program on Monday 17th February! Some patients request additional one on one time with me to debrief, and gain further clarity to move forward in their unique situations. To serve these patients, I have developed some new short, specific, and low cost services to help!... 15.01.2022 If the pandemic is, if nothing else, giving you some spare time, here's one way I recommend to use it wisely! Free apps and websites like Duolingo can help you learn a new language. It's what I use as a key component of my own self created cognitive rehabilitation plan for my own multiple sclerosis. We all need a healthier brain - especially in stressful times like these. I'll be sharing more tips, from the fun and creative to scientific here over the coming weeks. For now, here's some science :) Wishing you all peace, clarity and wellness https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6927643/

14.01.2022 Fun + good for your brain! Game on - and share your favourites here - mine is currently Diablo III, and "Matchington Mansion" for interactive puzzles - not forgetting the array of free crosswords on the Guardian online site. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6826942/

12.01.2022 I’ve been wracking my brain as to how I can directly help people who have lost so much in this fire season, or are sharing the trauma of friends, family, and animals who have. Being immunosuppressed, it’s unfortunately still not safe for me to travel these regions for face to face sessions, so until 28/02/20, I am offering PRO BONO CRITICAL INCIDENT DEBRIEFING SESSIONS online, or over the phone for those that still have access to the internet, or a landline / mobile phone s...ervice seeking critical incident counsel. It’s clarity, structure, helping you identify your first steps forward, holding space, and comfort with a qualified clinical and holistic therapist. This is Evolved Therapy. Please SHARE with friends or family who may find this helpful. Text or Message me here to arrange a session.

10.01.2022 Question of the day: What if you did nothing? While this is a great, situational question used in brain based therapies, in context - there is a broader science to the art of doing nothing. Even for just 2 minutes a day to start. So I encourage you to have a read of this short article to start now - then Do NOTHING.... Credit to Daniel Zandt writing for Stephen Guise. See more

10.01.2022 What makes a place SAFE? While the article here focuses on a work setting, (specifically in academia, where I’ve experienced similar challenges) it speaks to sitting in a chair of challenging someone, or something that holds power. This can be in the workplace, society, politics or relationships. ... The key tenet of any therapeutic service, or academic service delivered by me, is the provision of a SAFE space, where everyone has the freedom to speak their truth, opinion, share vulnerability or challenges without judgement and receive at minimum, kindness, empathy, objectivity and empowerment in the co-creation of their unique plan to move forward. It’s essential to people leaving feeling better, and that’s why that is my motto. I welcome YOUR opinions on the cusp of my launches of the SAFE spaces group sessions, what for you makes a space feel SAFE? 06.01.2022 Cited on the Wahls Protocol FB group page posted by one of the fantastic members. Finding an online group that shares both experiences and journeys (in this space: for autoimmune conditions) can be helpful during times of isolation, and provides perspective. These points are what I recommend, and am adhering to today for myself. It helps. Join me

05.01.2022 Not on holidays, not sick, just taking a short period of leave :) I look forward to being back with you, refreshed, and available again from Tuesday 14/04/20. Stay safe everyone - onwards, Sam

04.01.2022 With the holiday season upon us, HOW do we find balance between the happiness and enjoyment of the season, and the stressors that often come along with it? 03.01.2022 As the festive season draws to a close, I wish you all your best year and best forthcoming decade yet, starting in 2020! May you, your family and pets stay safe in the fires and heat! Remember to keep water outside for native wildlife. More steps in the article below thanks to Animals Australia!... Coming up in the first quarter of 2020, I look forward to more contributions to the Empower Pain Management Program at the Northern Pain Centre in Sydney and the long awaited release of Marcia Drut Davis’ second book, where I had the privilege of writing what, in hindsight is a very raw and vulnerable chapter to the overall theme of rejection! Stay tuned here for more updates! Happy New Year and I am grateful for you all - Onwards!
