15.01.2022 HI guys We are thrilled to invite you to the very first show of our newly formed cultural group Balesi Sanskritik Kendra. Balesi is a group of amateur enthusias...ts who came together to sing a weekly Dohori at Sams Continental Deli, Salisbury. The group swelled in numbers with new talents from across the community joining every week most of who have never stepped on a stage before. With their talents leading the way, they decided to take their amateur advanture to the next level in consultation with the community leaders resulting in this show. While expecting some imperfection this show is sure to walk you back to your time in villages in Nepal, Bhutan , India or Burma wherever you come from. We are sorry but our Jogi will wake you up in the middle of the night while he chases the evil spirits away with his Feri( horn). Most importantly, do not forget to bring your children as we will tell them the story at every step of our journey to Australia from our home in Bhutan- all in a beautiful Deusi rhyme.
