18.01.2022 People are getting organized for their summer camping adventures. Our calendar is filling up fast. For everyone wanting to book a camp site please book through Youcamp. 13.01.2022 Always good to be reminded about what makes a safe campfire. Thankfully most of our campers know and do this. And we always let campers know when there is a total fire ban.

11.01.2022 The blackberries are growing beautifully. Anybody camping in late January and early February will have an abundance of perfect juicy blackberries to pick.

11.01.2022 We drove up the hill over the weekend to take a pic of all the campers set up along the creek. Even though everything has dried off I still love this place.

In her words: "Samsons Gully is a working beef cattle farm, that is nestled in its own private valley and is tucked in beside the Mt Burrowa National Park. Because of our unique location we have prime access to the 4WD/motorbike/horse/bushwalking tracks the park has to offer - as well as lots of wildlife. We had always wanted to be able to share the peace and tranquillity of our property with others and knew that we had a unique spot that would appeal to a wide range of people. While being a stay at home Mum to four children, I started a cottage industry of making and selling soap. The children have since grown and moved on but I'm still making more and more soap as well as other skin care products. It was always a dream to set up a small shop on the farm for people to visit. How we were going to combine the two was something that eluded us until we saw an ad for Youcamp on Facebook. After reading other people’s property descriptions we decided that this is something we can do. So we signed up and listed our property. The old site was great, we had bookings almost instantly. We were very pleasantly surprised at how well our property was received. When the new site was launched, it was a no brainer that we would relist. Well the new site is fantastic, the assistance we received in setting up our listing as well as the ongoing support from Brooke and the team has been wonderful. And the ease of dealing with bookings and communicating with potential campers has been so good. We have met some wonderful people through Youcamp, and look forward to meeting many more. We have set up our little shop next to the house, and with each set of campers we see more potential of how we can improve their stay.
