No that's not a typo, this brew pours amber in colour, so 'pale' it is not It has big hop aromas and a refreshing bitter aftertaste. 05.01.2022 DRINK OF THE WEEK We thought we'd give you something a little different than rum or craft beer this time... The first of it's kind, meet Brookies Byron Slow Gin ... Our friends at Cape Byron Distillery have taken the traditional English style of sloe gin, and mixed it with unique rainforest fruit native to Byron Bay. The Davidson Plum is steeped in the gin to create exhilarating flavours of rose, watermelon and bright plum! 04.01.2022 Here at Sam's we are taking things day by day, watching for updates on the COVID-19 virus and taking on board all government recommendations. For now Sam's Place is open and operating as usual, as our max capacity is 70 people. Staff are taking extra precautions with hygiene, and we are urging anyone who feels unwell to reconsider their visit to our bar. For those like us that are well, and perhaps looking for something to do this weekend (before things potentially get even ...crazier), you can catch Peter Barry on Saturday from 6pm Stay safe and please consider your risk to other more vulnerable members of the community
