20.01.2022 Hi Everyone, the results are in and unfortunately I didn't make it over the line this time. However, I'm still counting my campaign a success, because so many of my ideas were adopted by other candidates who have been elected, and endorsed by the wider community. I do believe that Councils are the best hope for making change in an age where political disillusionment is growing. So I'm looking forward to working with the new Council on making big ideas happen. Congratulations ...to Simon Hou, Houssam Abiad, and Jessy Khera, who are your new Central Ward councillors-elect, and all the other new councillors especially new LM Sandy Verschoor. I have also, along the way, met hundreds and hundreds of new people, learned from others' ideas, and stood up for young people's ability to lead in local government. THANK YOU to everyone who put their trust in me, who voted, donated, volunteered, shared expertise, gave your time and talents to assist. Please keep in touch :)

14.01.2022 The campaign is over - thank you to EVERYONE who has helped by donating, sharing my message, encouraging people to vote, campaign management and contribution, and with general support. It really means so much. Whether the count turns out to be successful for me, I'm confident that Adelaide's future will be bright, with a large number of enthusiastic and principled people running across the board. As I've said to many people throughout the last few months, a main purpose in ru...nning for Council has been to have a platform to share vision. Candidacy itself has provided that platform, and I'm very happy to have achieved significant reach for several key big-picture ideas, so that even if I don't win a seat, I'm satisfied with that success. We'll know the final count for Central Ward by Monday afternoon, but today we will know who the next Lord Mayor will be. The link below is to the Electoral Commission SA website, which will have progressive results published. Congratulations to all candidates across South Australia who put up their hand to represent their communities. Congratulations and thank you also to Martin Haese on his last day as Adelaide's Lord Mayor, and all the Councillors who over the last four years have served Adelaide well.

11.01.2022 One of the frustrating things about being a young adult in Adelaide is hearing major players lament all the smart young people moving away. So do something about it! Vote for a young person this election.

10.01.2022 It's the final weeeeeeeeek!! The voting turnout in the Central Ward is fairly low so far. Make sure you don't miss out!

08.01.2022 I'm very pleased that almost ALL candidates running in Adelaide added their name to this pledge to end chronic homelessness in our city. It's a positive sign no matter the outcome next week. Of course, within the complexity of this issue, it's important how we define what homelessness is for the purposes of setting targets, and so I'm glad that the Don Dunstan Foundation has been able to compile the research and facilitate that work. Thanks to David and Rose and the DDF team for staging this important event.
