22.01.2022 Dear All Students & Parents, Exciting news, we are coming back to the dojo. We hope you are all safe and well and are excited to join us on the mats again. Samurai Karate would like to inform you that classes will be returning as of the 16th of November. It has been a difficult year for most of us and we miss seeing you all, our Samurai family. So until the 16th, Samurai Karate will be preparing the dojo for classes, we plan to run with the modified program we ran for that sh...ort period we came back in June. This is the Covid 19 is a training schedule to maintain training with everyone’s health and safety in mind. We will keep you updated as more information from DHHS is made available. So, from the 16th of November, all current suspensions will be finished, and payments activated. If you want to extend, please fill out a request as usual. If you are doing online training and are coming back to the dojo, please cancel your subscription after your last class on Friday the 13th of November. If you want to continue the online training after the 16th then put in a suspension for your normal fees and maintain your online subscription Please join and follow your dojo’s Facebook group as there will be updated info as we get closer to coming back to training. 21.01.2022 Twice a week our home is filled with the excitement and joy of a 6 year old joining his Little Samurai Karate class and the energy given by the team at Samurai ...Karate Sunshine is beyond incredible. I have recently had the pleasure of talking to Sensei Darren, Thomas, Luke, John and Fabian about their incredible clubs. Their story is one of love and a dedication to the sport they are all passionate about. We change lives says Sensei Darren when asked what Samurai Karate’s motto is. COVID-19 has meant that sporting clubs couldn’t conduct classes face to face. For many out there, they shut their doors, but not Samurai Karate. They saw an opportunity to innovate. We know how important karate is to our students adds Thomas so we needed to do something. With each week, the team has perfected the approach. Classes are conducted via zoom. The powerhouse team presents the session live to the students and in turn, watch the students technique on a large screen in their studio, offering advice on their form to help each person improve. By offering these incredible sessions online, students from all over Australia can join in, learn the art of karate and progress with online grading sessions conducted too. By having such a high quality offering, Karate can now be offered to children who would never had the opportunity before.
