24.01.2022 Hey guys, This is Hanna aka HR Images. Ill be doing a take over on the Samyang Australia and Maxxum Pty Ltd pages over the next 5 days. First I would like to thank Maxxum for giving me the opportunity to represent their products as a brand ambassador. For those who missed my intro, I am a photographer based in Sydney. I specialize in a wide variety of genres in photography. But my main focus is portraits and weddings. I have been doing photography for nearly 10 years. Curre...ntly a Sony Digital Imaging advocate as a well as ambassador for Maxxum. I run a variety of workshops across Sydney. For my first image, this is one of my favorite images captured. We drove 3 hours to Stockton beach for this shoot waking up really early to be at Stockton by 7am to avoid the harsh sun reflecting on the sand. For this shot I used the Samyang 35mm f1.4 AF lens for Sony E mount mounted on my Sony a7riii. I used an off camera flash to illuminate the models face to break up the unwanted shadows and still giving that balance of light between the model and the background. One trick for portraits is to find that balance of exposure between your model and background whether it is using an off camera flash or a reflector. In order to really stress-test the Samyang 35mm F1.8, I chose to shoot wide-open portraits at F1.8 (see image metadata below) on my Sony A7 III.... For me street photography is been able t...o capture the raw emotions of the public on the street in their element and not been to invasive.
