23.01.2022 The annual Melbourne Cup Luncheon was yet another great success in 2020 at the Club. The race that stops the nation saw 100 Members gather in Flemington (The Jabiru Restaurant) and Eagle Farm (Lakeview Terrace) for a succulent smorgasbord seafood buffet. All guests were impeccably dressed with the ladies donning beautiful dresses and the men stylishly suited up. Congratulations to our Best Dressed winners Sandy Sheilds and David Chell and, Carol and Mike Chapman.

22.01.2022 The Sanctuary Cove precinct has over 30,000 reasons to be ‘tickled pink’ after raising over $1,000 a day during October for vital research being conducted at the Gold Coast’s Institute for Glycomics at Griffith University. 12.01.2022 Congratulations to Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club Member Mr Phil Scott who was the lucky winner of $1,900 Club Credit at the Members’ Draw on Sunday 8 November 2020. This Sunday, the draw will reset to $1,000 and there will be one chance to find another lucky winner. In order to claim the Members’ Draw, the winner must be present in Lakeview Bar at the time of the draw. If the winner is not present, the draw will jackpot to $1,100 Club Credit next week with one chance to win.

During this event, a Members-only team led by Japan Tour Player Anthony Quayle will take on the Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club staff team. The Members team includes Anthony Quayle, Elvis Smylie, Shannon Moore, Glen Thomson and John Walter. Led by Paul Sanders, the Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club staff team includes Ryan Gailey, Tim Bray, Paul McLean, Mitchell Smith, Ashleigh Blacksell and Laura Liebenau.
