23.01.2022 NOTICE TO FOLLOWERS Firstly my apologies for a long message. There have been accusations from the previous coach operator at Sanctuary Cove that this page has been hacked. This is completely untrue.... My name is Julian, the original admin and owner of the Sanctuary Cove Tennis Centre page. I have never been part of any coaching team at the facility, just an avid tennis enthusiast. The page was created by myself in 2013 to promote tennis at our beautiful Sanctuary Cove Recreation Club, and in the past we have allowed coaches to be admins of the page to provide quality content updates on the happenings of the players at the centre. Sanctuary Cove Tennis Pty Ltd was only registered by a coach operator in 2017. Unfortunately, I was forced to take control because the page was being used for continuous self promotion by coaches from Activa Tennis Academy who no longer operate from the Tennis Centre. In the past we have not had issues with this on the page, however the content has deteriorated over the last 12 months and I am sorry as page owner that I did not step in earlier. We have a wonderful group of followers on the page, and our long standing coaches who are now back at the centre operating have been wrongly targeted by these attacks and slander. The content created from the previous operator has now been deleted from the page. Over the next week I will be adding access to this page to key stakeholders at the centre, including the Rec Club, organisers of social play and the current coaches from Gold Coast Tennis Academy Merandah and Steve. I thank you for your patience while I clean up the mess and the misleading information being circulated. Please be aware that the Instagram account sanctuarycovetennis has nothing to do with the tennis center or coaching operation as this was created by the owners of Sanctuary Cove Tennis Pty Ltd (aka Activa). We will be creating our own centre Instagram account over the next few weeks and we will keep you updated on this. My suggestions moving forward for our followers are: 1. If you are part of the Activa group and do not wish to be involved in tennis at the Sanctuary Cove Recreation Club, then please unfollow or unlike our page. I will not be offended in any way. 2. If you are a supporter of the Sanctuary Cove Tennis Centre page then I would suggest that you unsubscribe and unfollow tthe Activa Facebook Page, The Activa Instagram page and the sanctuarycovetennis Instagram page if you are a member as you will receive misleading information about the Facility. Thank you for reading through and we look forward to a fantastic 2020. Julian

The previous operators from the venue Sanctuary Cove Tennis Pty Ltd (Jeff and Yoko Schneider and Activa Tennis Academy) are no longer operating from this centre. It was identified that they have been misleading the public by portraying that they are still operating from the venue which is untrue. A new telephone number is now in place for court hire enquiries, social play, and coaching.
