20.01.2022 Our salon Serivce Menu for sanctum is in need of an update and we are working with our skincare suppliers to come up with some new Skin Treatments that we hope to launch in the next few months. Think treatments targeting pigmentation and UV damage, toning and firming and utter relaxation!! Along with these new Facial treatments we will be refreshing our Massage and Body Treatment menu.... We have made the decision that despite the challenges that the pandemic has brought and the ongoing threat of business closure depending on how transmission and cases in Tassie go, we are NOT going to increase our prices for Massage Therapy and the smallest possible increase (only if needed) for other services - we can't do too much to help others affected by this situation but we thought this is something we could do as least. 08.01.2022 Driving down George Street a week or so ago, I was struck by how many OPEN FOR BUSINESS signs I saw in our little city. And I thought "How lucky are we?" While this global situation is still ongoing and there are many folks in Tasmania who have been adversely affected by events, overall, to see life rolling along (for the most part) as normal is something I feel we just need to stop and appreciate for a moment.... (especially in light of QLDs lockdown at the time of writing) To be able to go away for the weekend and visit tourism venues. To pop down the shops (maskless) or to the movies. To even gather with friends and family without much effort. We are so fortunate that our little state has pulled together and kept each other as safe as we have. As to the future.....who can tell? For us, it means taking each day and week as they come and to continue to practice our safety measures regardless of the number (or not) of active cases in Tassie. And it definitely means, that every now and then, we'll take a moment to be aware and grateful of what we DO have over what we think don't, in our lives. See you soon.. Annie
