24.01.2022 I was shooting a wedding last Saturday and I love listening to the speeches because a part from the ceremony, in the speeches people really speak from the heart. One of the dads choked up when recalling when the girls were little he wished he could freeze them in time. I was close to tears listening to him. Time will always pass but you can hold onto those memories by encapsulating then in photographs. So do it now before your kids grow up. Capture all the moments in between ... @ Port Douglas

24.01.2022 Winters in Port Douglas don’t get that cold, but for us tropical babies we feel it. So while I sat by the fire in uggs, jeans, vest and a beanie our friends visiting for Melbourne basked in the warmth in shorts and tees. 15.01.2022 Let’s have truthful talk about Christmas. Christmas time is suppose to be a joyous occasion surround by the ones you love. But for a lot of families it can stressful, underlined with hurtful unspoken differences and broken family ties. So this year I propose that we leave our negativity at the door and we think about how we can help each other, maybe even help someone else’s family have a better Chrissy. 2020 has been unbelievably hard year for a lot of people so I think if we all dig hard, we can find some Christmas joy at the bottom of our stockings and sprinkle it on everyone. That way we can rock into 2021 with a fresh mind and heart !!!

13.01.2022 So my Saturday afternoon looked like this, there was a gentle breeze and the sky was blue as these two walked hand in hand into their intimate ceremony. I had all the warm fuzzy feels, as I witnessed the beautiful ceremony unfold and belly full of laughs were had by all.

I’ve tried to remain focused and positive. But in past few days a huge yearning for human contact has risen. What are you guys missing the most?
