Its a surfacing agent that helps take away the issues you can get in Keyline Epoxy filler coats, which leaves you with a smooth finish and an easier sand. 20.01.2022 We get a lot of questions about the Fused tapes vs the Real reinforcements glass tapes What’s easier to use? What’s stronger? Which one can wrap better? Which is more cost effective? The Glass tapes always will be stronger, wrap easier and cheaper. There’s debate on which is easier to lay up on a flat area and the other advantage of fused was that you can get fine line patterns and straight (sometimes - mainly depends on the fusing process) Damien @colanaustralia and... I have had this discussion a lot over the years trying to work out if you can do a fused look out of real reinforcement- so he made up this tape to see how close we could get it? Using 1k carbon in the cloth I think we are pretty close! Cost would be almost half the cost per Metre of a Fused version.. should we make this a product of ours? Would you use it? 20.01.2022 Some peoples trash is other people’s treasure! Ant brought in an old Pu blank that was dark brown which he was bought for 10 bucks it was blown in the 90’s. He hand shaped this sweet little fish up out of it some places it was slightly yellow due to the blank being so old, so a yellow spray job was the way to go we decided to test out the new Flat weave glass which was called by some K glass back in the day... this is a glass which is 6 Oz but glasses flat like a 4oz... so strong and light. One of Ant’s old favourites back in the day also, so it went with the theme of the board. Here’s the end result pretty spec board if you ask me. 17.01.2022 @scotty.wylie57 wanted a new look for a customer who’s hard on his boards he hand shaped a Eps performance mid length so we suggested our new innegra tape on the bottom with a flat weave 2oz innegra cloth reinforced deck as he wanted a clean white look.
