17.01.2022 It’s heating up this week, if you are unable to bring your animals inside, here are a few tips to help keep them cool. Most animals LOVE frozen treats! Pop ice or frozen bottles in their water put ice packs or frozen bottles in hutch ... hang wet towels or hessian on coop/ hutch wet the ground so they can lay in cool damp dirt. Add a pool, pop on a sprinkler or mister. Use a cooling mat- we sell these in store Most of all make sure you provide plenty of shade and lots of water. Fill bird baths and put shallow dishes of water out for birds and native wildlife. Never walk animals in hot roads or footpaths Good luck and fingers crossed all our feathered and furred babies survive the hot days ahead.
