Approximately 25 hours available. Exciting opportunity to show off your skills. We are looking for a Cook to be part of our foundational team. The successful applicant will help create and cook classic roasts, vegetables and hot chips. Salads throughout the warmer seasons. The applicant will need to have proven experience, excellent references, excellent communication skills, easy going temperament, along with a clean and professional presentation. The role requires - Menu planning, stock monitoring and ordering to ensure adequate stock levels and budgetary compliance. Reporting to the owner in relation to kitchen matters, protocols and procedures. Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation. Preparing, cooking and seasoning food products during cooking. Examining all food products and ingredients to ensure quality. Labelling and storing food products in accordance with health and safety regulations. Ensuring adherence to food safety standards and health and safety requirements. Supervising the cleaning of equipment and premises in accord with health and safety regulations. Keeping the kitchen clean at all times. Recording appropriate food safety records. We will continue ...to offer our takeaway service as usual with our full menu available. We can not offer dine in option at this point in time. Please take note of our new trading hours, see notice attached. If any of our customers are not comfortable or not able to come into our store, we are more than happy for you to stay in your car out the front of our shop (13 Mine Rd) and we will bring your order to you. We can offer contactless payment via tap and go. Just call us on 5655 2406 and let us know you are out the front of our shop and we will be happy to help you.
