01.01.2022 PD for Proficient Teachers when you get back to school after the holidays and find children are needing to tell their story of the anxiety provoked as a result of social isolation, fear of the virus, anxiety around lack of freedoms, space at home or confinement, behaviors of family members and the list goes on... We have 3 courses in Sandtray Play Work - theory of Mind using Imagination, Creation, Exploration towards Explanation for children aged 5 - 18 years each course 6PD ...towards proficient teacher (NESA approved) STPW is innovative using sandtray play in groups to help children tap into their active imagination to 'build worlds', be creative with chosen objects to help explore through non verbal storytelling. Help kids to tap into social skills development and then use scaffolding to be the narrator of their own story. Educators can then take this to other levels of learning from creating self developed character or picture story books by individual children to movie making, drama production, literacy, language development and more (can be used with neurodiverse children). Contact us to organise your school to adopt this play based evidence informed expressive approach to help the next stage of normality. Principal enquiries are welcome.
