14.01.2022 UPDATE: Police have revoked an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) following the discovery of a suspicious device in Sandgate ...this afternoon. Specialist police attended the scene and deemed the device as inactive and not harmful to the community. The PSPA was revoked at 8.10pm. 06.01.2022 POP UP LIVE MUSIC - Street Serenades, part of the Brisbane Festival, are coming to Sandgate, Brighton, and Bracken Ridge tomorrow (Thursday). Catch Pink Matter next to the blue matter. First at Decker Park in Brighton from 1pm, then Sandgate-Brighton Foreshore, near the Ninth Ave roundabout, at about 2pm. It will then pop up at Bracken Ridge Skate Plaza at around 5.40pm
