The Sandgate Aquatic Centre and The Bay Health Club will reopen at 8am Sunday 4th July 2021.... Please remember, if you are feeling unwell or are showing any symptoms , we urge you to follow the Queensland Health directive. Stay safe

18.01.2022 Our outdoor pools may be closed at the moment due to lightening, but it's lovely and warm in the indoor pool, so there is still fun to be had in the water on a stormy afternoon

18.01.2022 As you may be aware the Queensland Government has announced a 3-day lock down for the region of Greater Brisbane. All Learn to Swim lessons and squads from Saturday 9th Monday 11th will be cancelled and all customers that have been debited for these lessons will receive a credit. The Sandgate Aquatic Centre pool and The Bay Health Club will remain closed during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience and we hope to see you back soon.

The barcodes will be posted up along the entrance tunnel to Reception and we ask that you check yourself in prior to arriving at the front desk and present your phone displaying the green tick, to avoid queues. See below for tips on how to check in. If you don't have a phone with you, we will still have the sign in sheets at recpetion Special note: Bay Health Club members, Fitness Passport Holders with BayHC tags and Learn to Swim Families will scan tags or sign in at Reception as normal.

17.01.2022 Great news!! Our temporary lockdown is lifting as of 6pm tonight and we will be back open from Tuesday 12th January, yay!! Over the next 10 days some restrictions remain in place, including always having a mask with you, checking in using our GuestHQ barcodes and socially distancing yourself from others. Our Staff will be wearing masks, with the exception of Lifeguards working outdoors unless they need to address patrons, and we ask that you wear one around the facility in ...the event social distancing can't be maintained. Masks must be worn in indoor areas including change rooms and the Indoor Pool, however you may remove them just before entering the water and put them back on directly after exiting the water. We advise Physiotherapists and carers to wear masks if coming into close contact with clients in the water. Please note it is not mandatory for children under 12 to wear masks, phew! 14.01.2022 Happy New Year Everyone! A few more weeks of crazy good times, long hours of entertaining and fun filled days of school holidays. If you would like to visit the centre during these school holidays, for a quieter and less disturbed time on a hot summer day we suggest coming between 8am and 10am Weekdays and the early opening hours on Weekends (6am Saturday and 8am Sunday). Of course, if the weather is wet and cold the centre will be a lot quieter. We look forward to seeing you soon!
