25.01.2022 Presidents Weekly Wrap Up. 21st August. * 7 wins, 1 Draw & 1 Loss. Almost the perfect week. *... DDPL Teams. * 2s Played Settlers and drew 18 all. Finished Home & Away season in 2nd spot. * 1s Defeated Springvale Blue 20 - 16. Finished H &A on top. * Prems Defeated Settlers 20 -16. Finished 8th. A great effort considering some had them finishing last. * SEPL Team. Received the win and stayed in top spot, due to Foresters forfeiting. Understandable considering circumstances. R.I.P. Maggie * EDPL Teams. * 4s Knuckled down to defeat Mitcham 20 - 12, ensuring they finish in 3rd spot. * 3s. Defeated Croydon 19 - 13 to Finish 2 & 1/2 games clear on top. * 2s Lost any chance of playing finals, going down to The Bayswater 23-17. Well Done to Peter on his Pickets. Finished in 6th spot. * 1s . Finished in 3rd spot by defeating Croydon 23 - 17. * Prems. Potters Pool Hall will be re-opening on the 9th November. There will be Sign in Conditions & a Maximum Number of People Restrictions that I will provide closer to the date. So for everyone that have been missing Potter's, Playing Pool, I encourage you to get down there for a game or two, maybe a Drink and check out the new Kitchen & Menu.

Solid half 4/4, 4/4 then the turbo kicked in with 5/3 and ended perfectly with 6/0 Official score 19-11 and a place in the Grand Final. 6 players got 3 from 4 ALL players put in and the support from Club Members was fantastic. 18.01.2022 IMPORTANT MESSAGE - ANOTHER MATCH POSTPONED The EDPL matches scheduled in the fixtures for next Tuesday 8th June, have also been postponed (due to extended ...covid lockdown in Victoria), so those matches will now be played at the end of this season, on Tuesday 31st August instead. * 1st June Matches = now played on Tuesday 24th August * 8th June Matches = now played on Tuesday 31st August The Finals will now all be held 2 weeks later than the dates originally scheduled. We are really hoping we can recommence EDPL matches on Tuesday 15th June! All other matches this winter season will be played as per the dates on the fixtures, UNLESS we have to postpone any further matches after next Tuesday. If this is the case, we will inform you asap. 17.01.2022 Ok We have more Information on the Re-Opening of Potters. Potters will be Opening as of 4pm Next Monday Afternoon (Providing we all get good News on The Sunday). ... There will be A Maximum of 40 People allowed into the Venue at any given Time. All Visitors are Legally required to Sign In Using the QR Code or Visitors Register Located near the Front Door. There will be a Maximum Time Limit of 2 Hours per Visit, (Dependant on Visitor Numbers). Table Hire will be $15 per Hour per Table. Booking is preferred to reserve a Table. To Do So, Please contact Potters on 9791 8145.

14.01.2022 Latest Information on the Re-Opening of Potters. Potters will NOT be Opening this Coming Monday Afternoon. Brunsy's has just informed me that according to the Current Restrictions still in place by the Victorian Govenment, Potters CANNOT reopen tomorrow night.... Geoff will however look into opening the Cafe as of Monday week for food only, and not pool. The New reopening date will be advised as soon as we know. 05.01.2022 We have been notified that the DDPL have cancelled their winter season. The EDPL has an obligation to provide competition to its members, including premier div...ision. There is an EDPL club Presidents meeting being held this coming Monday night to offer up some different scenarios (subject to restrictions) By all accounts, the majority of members are keen to get back to "normal" by way of playing comp again. Your club Presidents will be coming back to you to gauge numbers wanting to proceed. Only when all clubs have responded back to the EDPL, will we be making any further announcements. See more

05.01.2022 DDPL Dear Members, We thank you for your patience while we have been discussing and reviewing information provided, by government and media surrounding the out...break of COVID-19 in Australia. We have spent the last few days liaising with club presidents, each other to get an understanding on where each club sits, in relation to the winter 2020 season commencing on Monday 23rd March. We need to understand and respect that each person is going to have their own view on what should and shouldnt happen. As an executive we have had to make a decision based on the wishes of our members and one that aligns with other social sporting organisations. That decision is to postpone the start of the 2020 Winter DDPL season. All scheduled games for this Monday March 23rd will not go ahead. We are aiming to re-commence on Monday 20 April. Providing the COVID-19 situation has settled we will play the remaining games. We understand this will create some inequalities in the fixture, but our plan is to get back to playing our beloved game as soon as possible. This has been a very hard decision to make and one we havent made lightly. Please note that this decision has been made with the very best of intentions, with the health and well being of our members and their families in mind. We want to do our part in helping to reduce the spread and impact of COVID-19. The demographic for our pool community is vast, we have male and female members ranging from 18 - 80+ years of age. Older members 60+ and those with existing health issues are our most vulnerable and we need to remember that. 8ball pool is our passion and our favourite pass-time, but health and survival trumps all. Lets do anything and everything in our power to ensure that we protect ourselves and others. For those people who intend to continue to play pool during this period socially (if venues remain open). Ensure you practice good hygiene. Wash your hands with warm water and soap, use hand sanitizer, clean the balls continually after each frame. Ditch the handshakes and kisses on the cheek for now, keep 1.5m away from all people. If you are showing symptoms of a cold or flu, be honest with yourself and stay home. We understand this is going to upset some people, but please understand its been decided as a proactive measure to protect all in DDPL and families .Also Wensday night meeting on the 18th March has been CANCELED until further notice. 01.01.2022 Starting Dates for each Div - EDPL 2020 Winter Season The Fixtures are almost ready to go live on the website, just a bit more checking and confirming before... theyre released, as we want to make sure there are NO errors! In the meantime, here are the starting dates for each division.. Prems - 31/3 Div 1 - 17/3 Div 2 - 24/3 Div 3 - 24/3 Div 4 - 17/3 So... only 1st & 4th Divisions are playing this coming Tuesday 17th March! The different starting dates are due to varying numbers of teams in each division, so some playing more/less weeks in the season.
