We are always going to feel life and energy around us too heavy for us at times but we cannot let it weigh us down or distract us from our path for too long. #onwardsandupwards Rise above it and soar. The only bird that dares to peck an eagle is the crow. The crow sits on the eagles back and bites his neck. The eagle does not respond, nor fight with the crow; it does not spend time or energy on the crow instead he just opens its w...ings and begins to rise higher in the heavens. The higher the flight, the harder it is for the crow to breathe and eventually the crow falls off due to a lack of oxygen. Learn from the eagle and don't fight the crows, just keep ascending. 23.01.2022 Today we had a lovely peaceful Yoga practice keeping chatter to a bare minimum before class and outside of the Yoga space to allow the class the opportunity to go deeper in their practice and the results of the ‘Silence’ at the end of class spoke louder than words. It always is lovely but today in particular was beautiful to feel the energy and wisdom of Silence.

21.01.2022 Gratitude to each and everyone of you for your dedication to Yoga this week and in particular to those who show up week after week after week. Today’s classes were about ‘Surrender and Trust’, trusting that the universe has your best interests at heart. If we can’t change what has happened to us in the past then don’t replay it over and over again in your mind but rather give yourself permission to release yourself from the experience and rather than react, respond with a vision for transformation. Feel it, express it and release it. Each moment you have to sit, lie and/or rest in the present moment awareness, centre your focus on your heart, breath slowly and calmly and know that all is well, and doing a little and doing your best each day is enough.

Cost $153 Casual Class $17 All classes must be booked in and casual class paid for at time of booking. Cancellation Policy If you cancel class at 24hrs or more notice, no penalty. If you cancel class less than 24 hrs ( but more than 2hrs) a cancellation penalty fee of $10 applies. Less than 2 hrs cancellation and No shows - you will forfeit the class. Note: If you cancel less than 24hrs you have the option of finding someone to fill the space at no penalty to you. 13.01.2022 Today we had the most chilled out relaxed Wall Yoga class and it was just what the dr ordered...divine. Rest & Digest ... The perfect antidote for 2020. And our parasympathetic nervous system went arhhh! The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for the body's rest and digestion response when the body is relaxed, resting, or feeding. It basically undoes the work of sympathetic division after a stressful situation. The parasympathetic nervous system decreases respiration and heart rate and increases digestion.

09.01.2022 The weather is warming up but it’s still cozy to wear leg warmers in class rather than socks. I don’t encourage socks to be worn in class for safety reasons, so today I have been repurposing old jumpers and came up with some leg warmers to sell for $10. Some are wool, some are angora and some are not. Some are black, some are grey and some are bright and colourful. Some are for skinny legs and some are not.

05.01.2022 Yoga takes dedication and commitment, it is what we call a soft discipline. We know we get results but only when we show up. Despite the rain today and the cooler weather of late, it is lovely to still see so many beautiful souls week after week. It’s great to know although we feel like it sometimes we won’t let the weather deter us because the benefits of yoga outweigh the reasons not too and yoga makes us feel so good. I’m am not unlike you, I too don’t feel like showing u...p at times especially if it’s cold and wet and if I am feeling stressed, but I do because not only I am your teacher but mostly as not to let you down and I too reap the rewards of a yoga practice. Yoga teachers are the same as you, living breathing, sensitive feeling beings. The gift we give to ourselves is to reap the amazing benefits. After yoga I feel zen...
