16.01.2022 A Moroccan art tour with Janna Pameijer in 2016 has permeated and influenced my pottery in a way that all travel reveals and differentiates culture to one’s own. Morocco just grows on you, the history, the people and the need to understand and connect. Where do I start to explain this hugeness within me, as I have grown to appreciate and admire its diversity. This has inspired a range of carving in my work and hopefully this little vase has captured its essence. For more information: http://www.sandrarobertson.com.au//at-the-valley-pass-mor/

12.01.2022 The studio has a new display shelf / room divider, made with Blue Quandong timber from Cooroy. My design was to utilise the natural edge slabs to reach the above beam, uninterrupted shelving surface to allow maxium display alterations and coated with a natural oil finish. Thank you Ian for such a great job.
11.01.2022 eARTh Elements Exhibition Wine Cups and Glass Platters 30th November 2018 at 5:30pm... Wan'din'in Art Space Eumundi Annie McDonald a glass artist and painters Mel Zaninni and Helen Lawson with Sandra Robertson a studio potter, decipher the four physical elements of Fire, Air, Water and Earth. In this exhibition the exploration of colour, element signs and strong references to their local community environment are evident. Paintings of radiant flowers and forest leaves, rivulets of glass and interpretation of digitization in clay provides a collaborate affect. Wine and refreshments will be served in handmade cups created by Sandra for you to take home. The design entwines ideas about our future with the introduction of WI-FI and other digital technology such as electromagnetic fields (EMF’s) from mobile phones. Also the introduction of more extensive bandwidths that could degenerate the earth’s environment and affect all animals. Entertainment is by Jade Zaninni on guitar and vocals. An assortment of nibbles will be served on Annie’s large glass platters and are available for purchase from her studio.
