25.01.2022 In partnership with Inspire Netball Group, the Boys Emerging Talent Academy (BETA) is back starting July! Registrations are open for Boys aged between 12-16 for... FRANKSTON and WERRIBEE locations. The structure is now changing slightly with 6 x sessions that will target the technical and tactical aspect of Netball and 6 x sessions that will target a holistic approach to individual athlete development. The BETA is an official pathway program of VMMNA that is designed to help young athletes progress through our Victorian Mens and Mixed State Team Program. 21.01.2022 Many thanks to all our young netballers who have registered to be part of the 2021 Intake!! We have had an overwhelming response and will be in touch with a trial date and the next step as soon as we can. The Intake is now closed for 2021 UMPIRING PROGRAM 2021 NEW INTAKE... SANDY places a high priority on the participation and empowerment of young people within our netball community. Our netball community is full of bright young stars and we love to be able to provide them with opportunities to learn, grow and develop. In line with this we are pleased to launch our new 2021 Umpire intake. So if you love netball and want to learn more about the rules of the game participating in our 2021 Umpire Intake could be the perfect opportunity for you. Minimum requirements: New umpires must be in Year 9 or above at school. Once accepted into the program you will be required to complete (on line) the Rules of Netball Theory Exam and gain 70% pass or above. Confidence to execute the rules of netball. Available to umpire Saturday mornings from 8:15am 11:30am throughout the development stage. To register your interest please email [email protected]. We will then be in contact with trial details for you.
