21.01.2022 Right now Perth is bloody hot and bloody windy! They are two of the reasons we set up Sandsports in the first place back in 96. Youd be down at Cott or City with your feet burning until lunchtime and then the breeze comes in blowing 40km/h. Good game of ball? Forget it! Dont get me wrong, I love the beach and when its good, its great. For swimming. However, not so much for volleyball. The best time of the year in Perth to play beach volleyball is from March to May. The ...intense summer heat has gone but there is a lingering warmth that lasts well into the night. The wind that wreaks havoc with serving, passing and setting becomes just a gentle waft like a lovers caress. This is the time when you play your best.
