25.01.2022 Success..... The first guests at my Airbnb "The Sandstone Point Retreat " were wonderful. Skye and Steven, a young couple now living in Brisbane are new to Queensland. They came to explore the area for the weekend and were very impressed with how much there is to see and do here. Best of all they loved The Sandstone Retreat and want to come back.

25.01.2022 Last week I did the rounds of the hire places to find somewhere that hired bicycles as there was an enquiry from a potential bnb guest. No luck there but I did get to see our Pumice stone Passage on a perfect day.

24.01.2022 My Airbnb "The Sandstone Point Retreat" now has a washing machine exclusively for guests. With the addition of a new sofa bed the sitting room can now be instantly transformed to a bedroom for two.

22.01.2022 The use of bikes, body boards and noodles are available for guests at The Sandstone Point Retreat. Touring by bicycle on the good network of off road cycling paths in the area is the best way to explore in this ideal sub tropical climate. If your up for a surf or just want to paddle about in the water Bribie Island has it all.

The pumicestone passage looks magnificent on a still sunny day .A gondola trip with champagne and nibbles at sunset would be just perfect. I will have to do it one day.

16.01.2022 I had to paint the skirting boards before my new carpet could be layed because the new carpet was lower than the old one. The carpet layer did me a favor to work on Saturday and I had to give a six pack of bourban and coke to the truck driver who made a special trip to deliver my carpet.

08.01.2022 My second guests Paige and Pete arrived yesterday to meet up with friends from the Sunshine Coast who were all meeting at the Sandstone Point Hotel for a 40th birthday celebration. From Brisbane this lovely couple were really enjoying a night out without their 2 young children. Unfortunately they were not able to explore the area as they had to leave early to relievee their Babysitter.

07.01.2022 It was the perfect day to sit by the water and listen to jazz at The Sandstone Point Hotel

06.01.2022 I met up with Greg at The Sandstone Point Hotel last Sunday. It was a perfect day to sit and listen to Jazz ByThe Jetty. There were over a thousand people sprewled out on the lawn sipping wine and nibbling on little treats. I got swooped three times by a magpie on my way to the parking area but was able to ward off this vicious brute by putting my chair on my head.

They are impressed already with what the Moreton Bay area has to offer and best of all they really like my Sandstone Point Retreat.
