Due to the current 3 day lockdown restrictions starting at 5pm tonight our practice will only be seeing patients that are experiencing a dental emergency until the restrictions ease (this includes tooth aches and broken teeth.) This decision is based on recommendations from the Australian Dental Association, Dental Board of Australia and Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC) which are put in place to minimise the sprea...d of infectious diseases. 18.01.2022 We often hear our patients telling us that brushing their teeth harder means they are doing a better job. This is not the case. Brushing too vigorously can cause our teeth to be sensitive and also causes gum recession. So what is a proper brushing technique?... Choose your toothbrush wisely. Always use a SOFT bristle tooth brush. Start timing your brushings. 2 minutes twice a day Angle your toothbrush 45 degrees to your gums Use gentle, short, circular motions Dont squash the bristles against teeth or gums If you eat a particularly acidic meal, rinse your mouth with water immediately after. Then wait about 30 minutes before brushing your teeth. Did you also know, every time you come and see us for your check-up and clean youll receive a new soft tooth brush, along with some other goodies of course

03.01.2022 Hi Everyone. I'm sure by now you've seen that Moreton Bay and Brisbane are going into lockdown as a precaution for Covid 19. This means that from 6pm today to 6pm Monday we have to avoid all non essential essential trips. According to the Australian Dental Association Queensland, Dental clinics like ours can stay open. We are working hard to protect you by maintaining our strict infection control protocols, as well as screening patients who come in to the clinic to make sure no one who has been in a hotspot or has any symptoms comes in.
